Brady is a great QB. He is my favorite player. However, he has not thrown very many deep balls. i remember a few to Branch. Is it a case of Brady not having the receivers?

I remember that he supposedly worked on it quite a bit last offseason, but he didn't get too many chances to throw it long this season. He'll be fine.

I recall him making a 65 yard bomb to Branch against the Steelers in the playoffs. Long passes are usually low percentage, but this time Brady actually has some guys who can go and get it deep.

In 2004, Brady was top four in the NFL in 40+ yard attempts, 40+ yard completions, and 40+ yard completion percentage.

He can and has thrown the deep ball very well.

When is mandatory mini camp start? I hear a few teams start this coming week.

It can't be that hard to throw the long ball when we have 3 receivers with the speed to run up to any overthrown ball.

Brady could chuck it as hard as he could every snap, and we would probably score at least 4 TD's every game.

Facts are such a wonderful thing.

With Moss you can just heave it up and there is a good chance he will be able to get it.

Its a whole lot easier to throw the long ball when you have receivers who can get wide open down the field.

Excluding last season (when we didn't have any deep threats) Patriots oppenents have at least had to respect the long ball.

Now they will fear it.

It will be easier to throw the long ball to such a huge target such as Randy Moss.

He excelled when he worked on it with the same receivers for a while.

There's no doubt he can fling it with less accuracy to Moss and get away with it.

When throwing a deep ball the QB is pretty much just throwing to a spot on the field. The WR is responsible for getting to that spot and making a play. . .It really has less to do with the QB than one would think.
