19-0 I say yes......watch out shula

I think we have as good a chance as ever to do something very special this year.

There is no hole anywhere - there are no weaknesses on this team.

Let's not get crazy, we ALWAYS seem to lose to Miami, and lately Indy. I'd be thrilled with 13-3, considering how tough our schedule is.

Oh God. Stop this please.

We added a lot of talent to our team this offseason, but that doesn't mean a thing; we still have to go out and play the game.

No.

That said, we are the front runners for that shiny silver football thingie. I'll take that!

Ha Ha!! I was waiting for this thread! I'd rather win the SB than worry about going undefeated.

GO PATS!!

Right now it looks as though we can, however will be probably go 19-0 NO... there is always that one or two games that we do not play as well as we should.

This team is beginning to look less and less like an efficiant, salary era overachiever and more like the 90's Cowboys. When is the last time you saw a team this stocked with talent?

An undefeated season is absolutely possible.

More importantly, how good will they be in Madden?

I want to see the Pats win the last game in Az next Feb, anything else is gravy. 19-0 wouls be sweet but the Fins had a soft schedule we don't.

Going undefeated takes some luck as well as a lot of talent. I think the Pats have the talent to do it now, but I doubt things will fall their way every week. There's gonna be a point in the streak when the team gets complacent, and that usually leads to the loss. So no, 19-0 is unlikely although I love the 2007 edition of this team already!!

14-2 in a good prediction. I dont want to get too overconfident. We are loaded. But I hate everyone predicting us as the champs when the season hasnt begun.

I just put randy on the pats and threw him like 200 yards passing I got 3 tvs going nfl net. espn draft and I am throwing to moss all day....

I am just stunned. I think we have the best WR corps in the freakin league. We dont have a huge group of superstars. But Moss with about 4 other good recievers is crazy. All capable of starting. Even Gaffney started for us in the playoffs and was awesome vs the FREAKIN Chargers.

Let's not put the cart before the horse. We still have to play all the games.

That being said....

WE GOT RANDY MOSS!

Too many variables to answer these types of questions. Assuming that they remained relatively injury-free (a BIG assumption), I still think we would lose 2-3 games due to the nature of our brutal schedule this upcoming season. However, I think we have a very good shot at a first round bye. From that point, I always like the Patriots (as we all should :D )

This is true. We usually mock the teams crowned champion of the offseason. Let's not fall into this trap. We need all our great acquisitions to meld into a lean, mean winning machine first.

Uh yeah, except everybody we add deals with "The Patriots Way." That means a restructure for Moss, one-year deals for the other new pickups, in a word, tweaks to make this madness work in a salary cap era, rather than just throwing money at the problem.

Uhhh... Hmmmm... Last year.... With the Chargers....

I dont think the chargers were as staked as this. I mean come on there QB was not as good as Tom and they had no wideout as good as Moss or even maybe Stallworth.
