Do you like the Moss trade?

Four a fourth rounder with a re-structured contract? How can you not like it

and a player that only wanted to come here!

YESSSSSSSS -- says it all

I don't know yet. I'm still in SHOCK.

For what we gave up, it was well worth the risk. I don't know if I would have liked the trade if it was a first day pick.

how about "I don't like it, but don't hate it?"

I can't really see him changing. A guy won't go from being a problem to being a good citizen.

Is the risk low? Yes.

Is the potential reward high? Yes.

Can I understand the deal? Of course.

Do I think it will work out well? Probably not.

This must be the death nell for all of us "stretching the field" theorists...

I'll try to make this clear -- BARRING INJURIES, Maroney is gearing up for 1600 yards, we'll outscore our opponents (yes, I realize it may be the toughest schedule in football) by well over 200 points (+177 in 2004), before a leisurely postseason trot around the bases...the word "annihilate" won't even apply, it will simply look way too easy.

Now, INJURIES always play a MAJOR role for every team.

Let me repeat........INJURIES ALWAYS PLAY A MAJOR ROLE.

Nothing is ever a lock, but paper lions have never been so fierce....if you can't admit that we're poised to dominate in a way that only one or two teams in history ever have, then you're just trying too hard to be a contrarian.

No wonder Mangini traded up to get a corner. He saw this coming. LOL!!:D

Imagine that, this draft we got wes welker and randy moss for a 2nd round and a 4th round.

2 veteran WR for a rookie center and day 2 4th rounder.

The center will not score us many touchdowns and counting on a 4th rounder to make more of an impact in a game than welker or moss is not wise.

So we now have stallworh, moss, and welker. If we have this line up brady's final drive last year would not have been intercepted.

Ok I wasnt a big fan of a Moss trade cuz at first I thought we'd have to give up something more but just look at it...

RANDY FREAKIN MOSS (re-structured contract, promising to behave) for a mere 4th round draft pick.

I'd say your crazy if you dont like that trade. And who cant wait to watch the Dolphags' CBs get burned every snap for 30 yard gains. :)

He was no problem in Minnesota for what it counts.... kinda like Dillon he's sick and tired of losing on the Raiders and was doing anything to get out of hell for what they have invested in him he knows he has to be on his best behavior or he'll get cut in a heartbeat..... I like this pick

This was an OUTSTANDING deal. Particularly in this year's draft. Almost a no-lose deal. The incentives are there for Moss to get his act together. He'll have his moments, but this team's leadership will get keep him straightened out.

Rodney for bench coach. Seymour for his assistant.

I clicked "Yes I love it." I could do no other.

A freakin fourth? And for a reported $3M base, $2M incentives????

Okay on the money part: don't know what the final details will be once the dust settles. There might be stuff not yet on the wires. But DAYUM.

By the way, I was a "Don't want him, not gonna happen, BB doesn't spend that kinda dough on wideouts" guy... I just can't find anything to hate.

Yet.

Don't let me down Randy,

There is some idiotic host on WEEI right now...dont know who and he is saying theres a negative to this deal where in mid season the Pats lose games and Moss doesnt catch many balls and he yells at the coachs and gets in trouble, gets fined. Lol, this guy is an idiot.
