I am completely dumb founded by this moss trade...I would have been content with Zak Deossie in RD 4...but...I mean..I am lost.

Help?

Re: So I guess this means there is no way Caldwell and Jaffney make the team?

You would rather have Zack De Ossie than Randy Moss?

This is a steal. We all loved Corey Dillon for a 2.

No, he's saying that he would have been satisfied with just DeOssie. Moss and the possibility of DeOssie too makes him...excited. ;)

I think Gaffney makes the team and Caldwell gets traded

I believe you are correct. Sorry bout that fantastic

I think both make the team, IF we keep 6 receivers. IMO, it will be

Moss
Stallworth
Welker
Washington
Gaffney
Caldwell

With Jackson being PUP'ed or IR'ed.

4 new receivers, who don't know our offense yet. Many a receiver have struggled to learn our playbook so Gaffney & Caldwell are insurance.

It would be hilarious if we got a 4th rounder for Caldwell.

Re: So I guess this means there is no way Caldwell and Jaffney make the team?

Lots of competition in camp. Jackson to PUP Gaffney and Caldwell #4 & 5??????
Washington #6????

Troy Brown retire or #6?

Just crazy. Please get Samuel signed and bring back Seau it is a close to a perfect off season.

Think Thomas ot Watson ever see a double team???????

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

troy brown isnt a lock to comeback..who knows how his knee is doing now after surgery..he didnt get signed yet..who knows if he will

i odnt see Washington making it

its alright..i am just in awe...i feel happy..real happy..but its like...i feel like the 400 lb pound bully in high school, Moss/Stallworth/Welker alone is
and we still have picks...This offseason has been truley something else. Pinch me, are we playing madden?

After a cup of joe, ive predicted that atleast one of Caldwell and Gaffney stay...I dont think we will hold on to this WR corps for long..but BOY will it be fun while its here..One season Tommy is at his prime with no artilery to work with.. and now the man has the whole gun rack...

nothing else but :rocker: Go pats?

now if Jackson is ready to go next season...this will be something else..can you imagine 4 wide Moss/Stallworth/Welker/Jackson...

I think somehow washington sticks around, he has alot of upside and can really pick apart stallworth and moss as he seems to fit their type of receiver mold.

The probability of Caldwell making the team? High.

The probability of Gaffney making the team? OK.

The probability of BOTH Gaffney and Caldwell making the team? Low.

Guys, nobody is going anywhere...yet.
The competition for TC has been set.
Talk about high calabre competition. Wow!

Seriously, someone save this post.

Re: So I guess this means there is no way Caldwell and Jaffney make the team?

With all the receivers we now have. It's not a lock that we will score on every possession. Brady needs time in the pocket to let the receivers run-their-routes. I think we need to bolster the offensive-line. If you look at the Colts, their offensive-line is very good.

To clarify this...NO I DID NOT SAY I WANTED ZAK OVER MOSS.. WHAT I WAS IMPLYING WAS.... I would have been content with ZAK picked with our 4th rounder...but the recent turn of events left me in a whirlwind..

like

"man I would have liked Deossie with that pick but DAMN, the way things have turned out i couldnt be much happier"

Youd have to be a huge fooooool, to want an unproven rookie over possibly the best WR in the league right now (when he wants to be). Honestly the physical tools he has..and the catchable balls brady throws...jesus..its on.

back to the subject..Chad Jackson/Kelley Washington are gonna be on the team IMO...Let Caldwell/Gaffney fight it out in TC. We have just solidified our WR corps for years to come..we have the luxury now of letting jackson grow and not need to put this huge expectations on him...and letting washington grow in our system..

I am pumped i am ready for the season today.

I thought Troy Brown is coming back? and what happens after CJ comes off the PUP List?

Bam must be depressed.
