he had some good answers..obviously he doesnt really need to answer questions about a few incidents..coaches know about it..he told every team that interviewd him. i like his attitude of "im not worried about playing time..im gonna learn the playbook"

Am I the only one who thinks it's perfectly reasonable for the media to ask questions about both the gun incident and the stomping incident? They wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't ask. If they're still harping on it in week 8 then we can all ***** about typical Boston media. But this guy comes with some baggage and there's nothing wrong with asking him about it.

I think Meriweather and one of his team mates were outside and a guy shot shot his friend in the backside and Meriweather used a hand gun and shot the guy three times. But there was nothing illegal about it. Self defense and the fact that Meriweather legally owned the gun.

2 incidents

#1) They were at Willie Cooper's house(a player) and a car drove by..shot at Willie Cooper. Cooper got hit in ass and Meriweather pulled out his gun and fired back at the car. Thats self defense..they were fired upon first..he had a legally owned gun. His major is criminology and his father is a well known cop in Florida i believe

#2) On the field..FIU vs Miami..we kicked the extra point and for some reason..a kid from their taem attacked our kicker and place holder..randomly attacked and a big fight broke out. It was a big brawl..Meriweather was seen running over and then started stomping on 1 of FIU's player's legs.

Yeah, though it's still to be avoided. It can be avoided, so if it can, it's better that it is... I am sure everybody asked him whether he's figured out how to not put himself in those situations, etc. etc. etc.
