#24 - LB David Harris
#28 - S Brandon Meriweather

Gosselin's final mock

His Pats picks for mocks 1.0 and 2.0:

#24 - John Beason
#28 - Michael Griffin

#24 - Lawrence Timmons
#28 - Brandon Meriweather

He chose LB as the first pick and Safety as the second pick in each draft. Different players in each mock except Meriweather listed twice. Gosselin's mocks tend to be more accurate with the positions, rather than the players. Although with his first 10 picks he sometimes matches player to team.

On the Harris pick -- he may be accurate. He's risen from a round two prospect to late first. And the late breaking news is, Kiper said today that Harris has risen even higher now and could be selected before #24. This is why we need to pay attention to these risers -- they can change the entire first round.

I like that.

YAY!!!!!!

I could post how I like two other players right now, but at this point, who cares? This will all be settled in the next 24 hours.

I would be very satisfied if that's how it turned out, but even though it's Gosselin, I'm not holding my breath.

I could live with that. My surprise was Okoye falling to KC @22. We'll see tomorrow.

Quinn all the way to the Fins??? I Don't like that.

Am I missing something here? Why is Chicago picking Ted Ginn Jr. at Jacksonville's #17?

I noticed he has Greg Olson falling to 25...I don't know if BB could just say no to a TE of his caliber. ;)

I like it, and I saw it coming.

I guess Gosselin has Briggs going to Jacksonville for the 17th pick in the draft.

EDIT: Its wierd that Gosselin says about the Browns what I have been saying for the last few months......

Yeah I don't like Quinn falling to the Dolphins. I'd love to see Brady go anywhere else but there. The Browns need to step up and draft the kid.

No. The Browns need to solidify their O-line. Without it, it won't matter if they had Brady Quinn or Peyton Manning, They would stink because their QB would be getting killed back there.

The Raiders O-Line needs to improve, as well.

The Cards have a young QB who needs to stand on two feet to succeed - they need help up front to do so. You combine a solidified OL with Leinart and James then the Cards will be right in the mix in the NFC West. Peterson would just get hammered like James did last year and continue to leave the QB at risk. I'd give this pick of Peterson to the Cards 5% of happening since Joe Thomas will not go to Cleveland, Quinn will - 75% likely - and the Cards will grab Thomas.

Tampa will either get Johnson or take Landry, even Willis is a possibility before Adams.

Leon Hall is overrated, his game speed is so so compared to timed speed. if the Vikes take him this high then they deserve the 3 three years of mediocrity you get for blowing ANOTHER 1st round pick.

Meachem, Bowe and Ginn Jr. all gone by number 19? Not a chance. WR is considered to be nicely deep this year with everyone else but Johnson and maybe Ginn Jr. so similar in risk that taking them or any other WR this high is a poor risk. Example - make a convincing argument that Bowe and Meachem are definitely better than Rice and Gonzalez.

Like I note in my mock ( http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/showthread.php?t=54731 ) - the value really seems to pick up in the late 1st after an amorphous mid round.

The Browns will take Quinn. LT is important, damn right. But you can get by with a Matt Light. QB is IT, if you can get a good one you do it.

Patriots picks are fine with me, I'd probably take Griffin over Merriweather but I like them both.

unless the miami QB is payton manning they wont win more then 6 games

Gosselin is the man. I would never of guessed that Joe Thomas pick.
