If Revis (or even Hall) were available somewhere in the teens tomorrow, I'd like to see the Pats move #24 and #127 (+or- whatever the transaction requires) to move for him.

I find it somewhat odd though, that there have been no Asante rumours this week. I would have thought that there'd be rumoured interest in teams flippin picks for him.

If we acquired Revis, do you think BB tries to move Asante immediately for a late first, or a second this year and next? Or would he be more likely to wait at least through spring workouts to see how Revis looks before deciding Asante's fate??

As shocking as it sounds, another scenario could be that BB does not share the admiration for Revis that Patsfans.com has.

As another thread indicated, BB has a list of players who were graded on individual points related to their position and given an overall grade. Unlike we fans getting excited about player's highlight reels, BB is also grading a player on the action that didn't occur because he did his job away from the play. Did Revis take his man out of the play with his positioning? That doesn't show up on the highlight reel, but it's on game tape. BB may or may not admire Revis as a player, but his decision is based on the grading system's final assessment, and not on how much a player raises his heartbeat.

Asante has been quiet since his Schefter interview, either he has a deal with the Pats and it just hasn't been announced or, he has been allowed to negotiate deals with potential draft day trading partners and is confident a trade will occur. http://www.newerascouting.com/index.php?c=6 list 21 teams who need cornerback help, I'd imagine half a dozen or so teams are likely to have draft day trades lined up with the Pats for Asante depending on who is one the board.
