1st Rd #24 Michael Griffin- Safety
1st Rd #28 Anthony Spencer OLB/DE
No 2nd Rd pick
3rd Rd #91 Paul Williams WR
I'm actually a 49er fan who's happens to have your team in a mockdraft I was just wondering if you would be happy with these picks.

I'm not a fan of Griffin considering the Longhorns pass D was awful.

Spencer is a good value, but he doesn't fit the need of an ILB.

Paul Williams is a guy admittedly I never heard of, but looking at his resume sounds like a workout warrior. If the scouting report from Sporting News is accurate then he doesn't fit the mold of a Patriot WR.

The reason I picked Griffin was because all of the top WR where gone and Harrison is getting up there in age as is Vrabel and Tully Banta Cain is gone.(Spencer pick)

I'm OK with Griffin although like bakes said he was part of an atrocious Texas secondary. Perhaps his game could improve if he was surrounded by smarter players. I still prefer Meriweather.

I was a big Spencer guy up until the signing of AD. With AD, Colvin and Vrabel in the mix I think we should use our 1sts on more pressing needs.

We don't really need WR's at the moment either.

Replace the third round pick with Booker/bush/jackson :)

Bruschi is older and we need help at ILB pretty bad. plus..dont worry about any WR..we have Stallworth-Washington-Welker-Jackson-Caldwell-Gaffney

Fixed it for ya, lol!:)

Personally I'd take Woodley or Harris but I like Spencer too, so I'd be fine with the pick.

Besides they could get Desmond Bishop or Anthony Waters later...

I think that would be a solid draft. Spencer looks like he would be a good rush LB in the 3-4 scheme.

I am assuming there were no trade allows much like ours was I think that we will find a way to trade for second round pick this year a possabliy a first next year

Well. No. I wouldn't be happy with it.

1) I don't care for Spencer. Something about him just rubs me wrong. But if the Pats chose him, I always defer to them.

2) Paul Williams - Well, considering that he supposedly likes defense better than offense, taking him in the 3rd round as a Corner might be a stretch because he'd be a conversion project. I'd rather go after a true corner instead. But, again, I would defer to the Pats if they felt he was better as a corner.

3) I think this draft could be much better than what you've posted.

paul williams was a corneR?

According to NFLDraftScout.com, he played on both sides of the ball, though primarily on offense. Supposedly he prefer's defense though.

I'm no fan of Griffen (as those on the board already know), after he lead his pass D to a 90th ranking in 1a. Spencer wants to remain a DE, so he really fits a Tampa-2 D rather than a 3-4. Paul Williams; it must be a home town pick. I would expect him to go late 5th. Sorry, no love from me tonite...
