Please tell me that one of you guys was the guy who either A) got hit with a slice of pizza at Fenway yesterday or B) the guy (in a Pats jacket) who threw the pizza.

Did you guys see this on ESPN? And if you were involved please step forward. lol

No, but I wish I was there to give the guy that threw the pizza a beating. What an idiot!!! I hope they ban him from Fenway for life.

What the hell was that all about. Maybe he was trying to hit Garret Anderson? If so, that was a horrible throw. I would've eaten that pizza.

Please, if this involved you at all, come forward.

Its up on youtube

The victim's completely innocent. Its ok to catch a ball that's likely to land on your or possibly your little kid's head. The restriction only applies to reaching out onto the field. The guy who threw the pizza was ejected, which is right. They should have held him long enough to get his ID and sent that info off to the Garden and Razor so he could be banned from those places too. Let him get his sports-related recreation by watching matches at the Longwood Tennis Club. There was a time when that sort of stuff almost never happened. I miss that time.

That guy looked like he was ready to woop someone's ass.

The funniest thing about the whole occurrence (besides Remy and Orsillo going on for the next inning and a half about how good the pizza looked while it was mid-air, which is more pathetic than funny) is that the guy who got hit by the flying slice wasn't even the one who had touched the ball, it was the guy next to him. I love how the rest of the crowd then turned on the assclown pizza-thrower, pointing him out and everything. Good show, Sox fans.

Classic M*******. Man I miss New England.

Man, that goes down in the Don Orsillo Hall of Fame.

(Up there with him telestrating back hair last week, and his "Young GMs have had sex" quote)

oh my god that was funny

The pizza flying through the air in slow motion is classic.:D :D

Look, most of us can tolerate your blather about the Dolphins, but when you start posting baseball in this forum you've crossed the line. Please take it to the baseball forum or zip it.

The guy had been giving me **** all game, so when he got the beer splashed on him, I gave him some pizza to go with it. Did you see him give me the finger?

Two seasons ago they were laughing non-stop for an entire inning...they could barely breathe...because their guy in the stands told this joke: "What time is a good time to see a dentist? Tooth-hurty."

That joke was so stupid it was funny, and Rem and Don were dying.

that was pretty crazy.

I wonder what possessed the guy to throw the pizza.

I guess he figured that since the guy didn't catch the ball, he could at least catch a pizza.

I'm surprised the guy who was hit didn't try to go after the 'pizza thrower'.

The guy who got hit will never be able to live this down with his buddies. I'm sure they may randomly throw pizza at him too.

They should throw a Pizza Hut at him.

That's interesting, because my reaction was the exact opposite: that kind of bozo behavior is something I most definitely do NOT miss about New England! :)

Was the pizza thrower confused about who was at bat? When your team is batting, you always try to interfere with any ball that you have the right legally to interfere with -- that is, one that's coming down outside the field of play.

You only get out of the way when it's the other team at bat -- that was Bartman's mistake. The guy who got hit with the pizza did exactly the right thing. He actually kept J.D. Drew's at bat alive. If Drew had hit a homer, the guy would have been a hero.

Don't forget Denis Leary and Lenny Clark in the booth absolutely killing Remy and Orsillo last year with the Kevin Youkilis-Mel Gibson rant.

THAT may have been the greatest moment in TV comedy history. Could not have ever been scripted better if someone tried.
