The NFL Network just ran it on Path To The Draft to point out that the combine can be misleading - TB ran a 5.27!! And, as the commentators aptly noted, though it looked like the tape was in it slo-mo, it was not. Wow, TB looked awful. Certainly, this 'performance' was part of his slide to the 6th. :D

That's why Brady is a QB and not a RB. If you like 40 times go ahead and take Vick with the #1 overall, I'll settle for 3 championship rings thus far and more to come. :D

PS Even I can ran a better 40 time than that but I'm not playing pro football any time soon!

Wow, with a 40 time like that, it's a surprise that Brady wasn't the one being called a statue. lol. But even with that 40 time, Brady still had the ability to move in the pocket to avoid the pass rush so i guess it tells you that 40 times aren't everything!

he got by urlacker!!!!!!!!:singing: :singing: :singing:

that's funny.

if he can get by ulracher, TB got enough speed for me

He won the speed agility run in the Quarterback Challenges a couple years ago, around 2002. Beat Doug Flutie for one.

His speed is good enough. That's all I can say.

Yea you can see it on the Americas game for the O1 team (Check it out on Demand on the NFL Channel Local Zone). Me and my Dad couldn't stop laughing when we saw it. It was great, I could confidently say that I could run faster than an NFL Player!!

5.27? Sounds like my time in the 10...

Thank God '01 Brady is no where near the Brady now.

I thought I could throw farther and run faster than him in '01. :D

He looked funny running the 40 dash,I thought his knees were up so high when running that they would hit his chest :D

sorry to say, but i could careless about any QB's 40 time. When do you see a QB playing wide reciever?

IN othe on demand content they even have the brady picture standing on the scale with his shorts......intangables .

from 1970 68 Qb`s have been drafted and 28 have been what you would call successfull -actually played for more than 3 seasons as startes.40% success rate. I can only imagine a 6th rounder .

TB does look faster now than in this tape of the combine, there is no doubt about it. You always hear about working hard to get better, is it really possible that TB made himself faster after joining the Pats? If so, that's quite an accomplishment and makes me believe a little more of the endless "work harder" chatter NFL types repeat like robots.

Seeing what Brady was and what he made himself into, I can only wonder what Bledsoe could have become if he started running up WhiteFish every summer...

What was his wunderlick score though? Anyone?

Brady scored a 33 (the highest for QB's that year) while Noodle Arm Pennington scored a 25, which is also the same score Pay-me-a-ton registered.
