I wonder what the Cheifs what for him. The prospect of Hall and Welker returning kicks and punts would be pretty sweet. What do you guys think? Should the Pats look into it?

No. He's not even a shadow of what he once was. And he'll probably be asking for too much money considering what he would add to the team.

Didn't realize "Lets make a deal" was still on TV.

Just checked. Definitely mediocre at both kr and pr 2006. Has he been hurt? Stats are way down.

The Human Joystick?
We got Welker.

u have to score more than once to be a Human Joystick

Welker is overrated as a returnman. what has he done?

When it comes to return men, there stats always decline after a year of success mainly because teams just don't kick to you any more. On top of him just getting older he's just not worth it.

And he's tremendously under-rated by you. You keep harping on this yet, get proven time and again that you aren't giving Welker enough credit for what he did accomplish considering how poor the Dolphins special teams were at blocking on kick returns and punt returns.

When a team leads the league in Fair Catches, its not because the punt returner isn't good. Its because he has a choice of taking the fair catch or getting plastered by the gunners who easily blew by their assigned blockers.

Nobody said he was Rocket Man. He'll rarely lead a chasing stampede to the painted grass. What he will do, is make it a helluva hard time to be "it" in a game of tag. Just you wait to see how often he seems to be wide open when Brady starts looking to his left. It won't be by sheer serendipity.

Do you take time out of your busy schedule to **** on Welker everytime you can in real life too?

I'll be happy with Welker and Hobbs...

Or Welker and Maroney...(Not likely)

Or Welker and Faulk...

Or Welker and Andrews...

Or Welker and ...

No need for Hall.

There isn't enough room for both Hall and Welker on this team, and in my opinion, we got the better one anyways.
