I'm not sure what to think of Jax or Carolina yet. San Diego should be good.

It is a tough stretch though.

Regardless of how much they may suck overall, Jacksonville and Carolina are always very physical teams.

Right, it's impossible to know how good these teams will be WHEN the Colts play them, but I'd imagine Jax and Carolina are tough games. Of course, NE, @SD, NO, Denver, @Balt, KC...those should all also be tough games. Well, all NFL games are tough, but I do think the Colts schedule looks to be a tough one for them.

It's tough because Jacksonville has given them a hard time lately, and their physical. Caroline is physical, NE's physical, and the Chargers are physical.At least three of the teams should have good rushing attacks as well, so that should test their new defensive players. Who do they play after that four game stretch? if they have a bye good for them, but even a weak team could give them a hard time coming off four straight games against that type of comp. I'm thinking they go 2-2 over that stretch.

I was just checking, that's brutal for sure. they play all those teams then KC, @ ATL, Jax, @B-More, Oak, Houst, Tenn. They get their bye just before that tough stretch

They could loose against KC or @ATL just from being tired, then they have Jax and @B-More back-to-back.

The ONE thing Colts camp DOES like is the fact that the Pats' bye week comes just after they play @ Colts. Maroney and Harrison MAY very well be IR'd by that point anyway But if not, they may be more than a little banged up by then.

Pats will have played eight straight weeks without the benefit of a bye week. Colts get a break in week six. Just saying the Pats at that point might be limping into the bye week.

Except when you try a lateral on a punt return on the road in the fourth quarter that gets botched and ends up costing the team a victory and a playoff spot (see Carolina @ Vikings) WORST play call in the history of the game!

I actually like John Fox. I think he's a good coach. I hear the brass has given him the ole, "playoffs or else" ultimatum.

I feel likw the Panters have been expected to be good since the 2003 Superbowl and they have just been average, if even that good.

Yeah you guys might be 'fresher' for the contest, but coming off of back to back road games against physical teams I wouldn't bet on it.

And if the Pats are banged up, then they can use the bye week to get healthy for the stretch run. The scenario might be good for that ONE game (NE at Indy) but it's clearly an advantage for the Pats during the scope of the whole season.

Bad, good, it really does not matter. Each organization will spin it into a positive when the bye week rolls around. Yeah, what I am saying IS just for that ONE game. But that ONE game last year gave the Colts HFA over the Pats. IMO, that ONE game carries HUGE implications.

IMO, Delhomme for some reason gets a big, fat "pass" on his game. He single handedly threw a couple games away last year, LITERALLY. I thought D'Angelo was a good pick for them last year, as it turns out, Addai or Jones-Drew would have been wiser. Steve Smith wasn't 100% the whole year either, plus, hard to duplicate his insane numbers from the previous year. They are physical, and they will challenge, but IMO, Colts should handle them.
