... in two separate crawlers on Thursday's ESPN NFL show.

(And i realize he is much more showman than savant.)

He also gives us that Florida safety lots of you like.

Once again there is NO WAY ON EARTH Willis falls to #24. Just get it out of your head. The only way the Patriots land Willis is by trading up.

Or with the first rounder they get for Asante:D

Which realistically might not be out of the question since the Washington papers are saying they plan to call the Patriots today.

Sean, do you have a link for that ? I'm not someone who usually demands links for everything but I took a quick look at didn't see anything about it.

Ask and you shall recieve.

Although they appear set at cornerback, the Redskins are expected to call New England about Asante Samuel, who expressed disappointment Wednesday about not getting a long-term contract and would be open to a trade. Samuel shared a tie for first in the NFL last year with 10 interceptions and was designated as the Patriots' franchise player.
Unable to complete a major trade this offseason -- talks with Chicago for linebacker Lance Briggs broke down earlier this week -- the Redskins might make a play for Samuel.

Its at the end of the article. Couple of other papers mention it as well.

the general consensus is that since Briggs is worth a 6th then Samuel at CB (a higher quality position) is worth the same if not more. Redskins fans, not smart ones, have offered a 6th and Springs for Samuel idea.

Thanks, I missed that. I'd love to move up to #6, see what's there, take Thomas if he slipped there, maybe Adams, if not trade down to the teens, pick up another pick and get Willis or Hall.

From what I've heard the reason Skins fans want to include Springs is that he is brittle and they want to unload his contract on someone else... If offered a trade from the Skins, I'd just take the pick and run.

A top 10 pick for Samuel is incredible value. I'm hoping the Redskins front office is drinking tons of cool aid instead of looking at tons of film on Samuel.

Landry would definitely be available at #6.

Kiper is a doofus.
