Pretty simple thread in itself as we all harbor a little hatred for the Dolphins. I think it should be expelled in one, non hateful thread. Maybe generate a little discussion too, perhaps? Here's what I hate about them...

1. Those god awful uniforms - They have probably the ugliest uniforms in the league. White mixed in with green and orange? I takes me back to the 80's almost. And their symbol is pretty stupid too.

2. They always share a game with us - This gives their fans big heads and all they can talk about is how they beat us. Yeah? Get over yourselves. When was the last time you won a Super Bowl? When was the last time you were even in a Super Bowl?

3. Their fans - Their fans are some of the most annoying on the planet. I'm friends with a lot of them and even have some in my family, but my God do they get on my nerves. First of all, they always think every big name free agent is coming to Miami. "RANDY MOSS NEXT YEAR BABY HOOKING UP WITH CULPEPPER TO DO WHAT THEY DID IN MINNESOTA"! They can't get over how awesome their team was in the past and you can't really talk football in general with them because all they want to do is talk about the Dolphins and what's going on with them. See Aqua's posts here. 90% always have something to do with the Dolphins.

I'll address your points, since you are basically on the same page as I am;

1.) Uniforms not really an issue, although when they break out that friggin orange shirt, that is just brutal.

2.) The Dolphins/Patriots rivalry is a war, no doubt about it, throw the records out when they play each other, especially down in Miami, the sauna that it is, just like it is brutal for them to play here in November/December, the weather is really a factor in my opinion. I remember the year all we had to do was win down there on a Monday night and we were in the playoffs (ironically, the same night Lennon was shot) and John Smith had a late field goal blocked and the Dolphins, who sucked that year, won the game in OT. I also remember the same scenario a few years ago when BB was in his first year here and the Dolphins came up here last game of the year and all they had to do to make the playoffs was beat us, we sucked that year and they choked, the weather sucked that day and so did the Dolphins.

For the record, the last time the Dolphins were in a Super Bowl was 1985 and the last time they won one was 1974, 33 years and counting since their last SB win.

3.) Their fans, last point and the one that really hits a nerve. I never had a problem with their fans until 1985, myself and about ten of my friends scored tickets to the AFC Championship game at the Orange Bowl, everywhere we went that weekend, the Dolphin fans were just brutal, not a one of them was decent, they were basically a bunch of assclowns.

Remember up until that game, they had beaten us about 9,000 games in row at the Orange Bowl and that was all they kept saying to us. At the game itself, they were 10 times worse, after we won, they were 1,000 times worse. Not a single one of them offered congrats to any of us, they were a bunch of total douche bags, I remember to this day one hayseed with his mesh doofins hat, two teeth in his skull and his Bill Ray Cyrus mullet throwing bottles at us in the parking lot, yelling and carrying on like a total ******.

None of us said a word to any of the morons and Sunday night, we all went to a club down there, I think it was called Banana Max or something like that, the waitresses who worked there were smoking hot, all of them had blonde hair and huge jugs. We all walked in, stood at the bar, ordered a round and pulled folded up Patriots hats out of our back pockets, put them on and had a victory toast. One of the waitresses came over and tried to knock the drinks out of our hands, several hayseeds tried to help her and a huge brawl broke out.

Ever since then, I hate Doofin fans with a passion, more than any fans of team of any sport, including our newest tool, Ballsackforever, he embodies everything I hate about Doofin fans. All they talk about is 1972, the last perfect season, and how pathetic is it how every year the former members of that team, including Zonka with that S shaped honker of his (is there an uglier nose on an uglier mug anywhere else in sports) pull out the champagne to celebrate when the last undefeated team of that particular year loses it's first game. Talk about a losers mentality, holding on to a 35 year old record. I also love the fact that it STILL jerks a knot in Shulas south end concerning the snow plow game, he'll take that to his grave.

Have you ever seen Csonka run though? There's a reason his face looks like that and that's because of going helmet to helmet too many times and running over the opposition as if they were just standing still. He would look great in a Patriot uniform.

Him, Kick and Morris were terrific backs, as you said the guy was a freight train, his face would make a freight train take a dirt road.

See Aqua's posts here. 90% always have something to do with the Dolphins.

That's because that is the area where I can provide the most contribution. I do give my opinions on other topics, but my area of expertise is the Dolphins. I don't see a problem with that.

Their fans are un-real. If you ever check out finheaven.com you'll see that they actually believe they are playoff contendors. What annoys me the most is that they claim greatness over their 21-0 win in Miami last year and that win on MNF in 2004. They have got to be the most delusional fans in the league. Another thing I noticed about them is they all like 5 different teams from 5 different cities. I don't get it. You'll see one guy likes the Dolphins, Lakers, Indians, West Virginia football and Kentucky Basketball. It's really odd. I'm not one to talk about liking teams in different cities as I'm not a Red Sox fan, but it seems that 90% of their fans are like that.

lol lol lol he thinks he has a area of expertise after all is moronic predictions lol lol what total jackass.your nothing but a cheerleader .grab your pom poms and put your skirt on ballbag4ver lol lol

The reason most Doofin fans like five different teams from five different cities is 99% of them aren't actually from Florida, they move there and take their rooting interests from wherever they came from with them.

TBWoot, not sure if you were around when we lost that Monday night game three years ago, but the way those ballbag Doofin fans invaded this forum rubbing it in was beyond comical, they of the 2-14 record that year. It was laugh out loud hysterical to read some of the posts, you would have thought they won the Super Bowl, or at least made the playoffs themselves with that win.

The most satisfying thing about that loss was that game is what propelled the team to go on and win the Super Bowl that year, they were royally pissed about losing the game to that pack of losers and it showed the way the played the rest of the year, so everyone here should thank the Doofins for beating us that night; hey ballsackforever, THANKS A MILLION YOU DOUCHE....................

I don't think it's ridiculous for any team to think they have a shot at the playoffs in this day and age. Any one who wasn't a Jets fan picked them to win 4 or 5 games last year and look what happend. And when your defense is one of the best 3 or 4 in football, you will be in every game you play.

I noticed that too. It seems totally random.

This is correct, but there is no reason to expect the Fins to make the playoffs. They might suprise people and do it, but it would be just that, a suprise.

Am I the only one that was not totally amazed with the Jets were actually decent? The were a field goal away from the AFC Championship game two years ago, and their downfall last year was mostly due to not having a QB. When Pennington is healthy, he is decent QB. And they had a majorly easy schedule.

I still think Miami is a good quarterback away from being a pretty good team. But you're right, it would be a little far fetched to expect them to be contenders, but I think they are very capable of winning 8 or 9 games next year. The defense is way too good to ingore.

I actully picked the Jets to be the AFCE winners in 2005 before all their injuries. I'm still not big on Pennington, but I guess he gets the job done. I wouldn't be able to stand having a QB who can't throw it 40 yards though.

Thing I hate most? Aquagay.

I also frequent FinHeaven and I have noticed that patriotspride mostly stays in the designated AFC East forum, which is specifically meant to discuss other teams in the division.

How many threads are there on the main forum that has to do with the Dolphins or AFCE in general? There are plenty and I also stay in those. This site is not like Finheaven which has a forum for everything, this place basically has just a main forum. Besides, the visiting lockerroom is just full of guys who tell you to leave and is a complete waste of time. It's all smack and that's not what I'm here for.
