Pats Mock

Yes, I give my opinion based on what I feel the Pats needs are and based on what I feel are the best players available

Revis wont be available @ 1.28 "junior"- I GUARANTEE that.

YOU, you provide bubkus, slam respected on-line draft sites that you know nothing about (and in fact use indirectly)

"Who", "Where", and "What" are you talking about?? I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you sure you have the right person?

I'm seriously asking. Because you keep on saying this, yet I have no idea where it is coming from.

Ok instead of Jackson.

3rd round pick is Marcus Hamilton, Virginia

You're better off with Jackson. Hamilton isn't expected to be drafted. I like him as a street free agent, though.

I'm not the one you should be saying that to. That dude insults me in almost every single thread. Eye for an eye... tooth for a tooth kind of thing.

IMO, ANYONE who has Revis available @ 1.28, is picking with their heart and not their head. It is just not realistic. Why not just give us LaRon Landry?

BTW: This is not a knock on the guy who did this mock. I know that you listed multiple options. I was commenting on DaBruinz mock. Only because he beats his chest like he has draft knowledge, and then throws Revis out there @ 1.28.

Dude -
I don't "insult you in almost every thread." Plenty of people have called you out over your stupid antics in the threads you have posted in. Not just myself.

BTW, People said Wilfork wouldn't be available at 21 the year he was drafted. Ernest Shazor was supposedly a CAN'T MISS top 20 prospect. He went undrafted. Steven Jackson was supposed to be a top 10 pick. He went #24. Aaron Rogers was supposed to be a top 5 pick. He went something like 28th. I could go on and on about the NUMEROUS examples of players NOT going as early as people thought. So, yes, There is every bit of chance that Revis could last until 28.

It wasn't a matter of beating my chest. But far be it from you to know what you are talking about.

Revis wont be available @ 1.28 "junior"- I GUARANTEE that.

People guaranteed that Steven Jackson wouldn't be there at 21 when the Pats were going to draft. He was. Same with Wilfork. People pounded their chests claimin Ernast Shazor was the next BIG SAFETY. He went undrafted.

You have no idea where its coming from? Glad to see that your memory is so short. And, yes, I am sure I have the right personn.

Mog,

Dabruinz is right. You can not guarantee that Revis will not be there at 28 or wherever. They're could be a run on rb/wr. Therefore driving some talent to the later part of the rounds.

Wilfork, Steven Jackson and Rodgers from Cal are all prime examples.

In that case, I want Landry at 24.

Of course, a top player might slip. That doesn't make it reasonable to predict that a particular top player will slip. IMHO, predicting that Revis will last until 28 is simply poor analysis; not to mention that this couldn't happen since the patriots would be very happy to draft him at 24.

I like your players. I just don't think that they will be there. I think that your first three would be a fine DAY ONE, although I think it more likely that we will get Revis and Leonard at 16 and 47 than at 28 and 38.

Here is my mock.

#28 - Darelle Revis - CB
#38 - Brian Leonard - FB/RB
#69 - Stewart Bradly - ILB/OLB
#91 - Zak DeOssie - ILB/OLB
#123 - Sabby Piscatelli - SS
4th round comp - John Wendling - FS
#165 - Allan Barbre - OT
#187 - Usama Young - CB
6th round comp - Chris Davis - WR
6th round comp - Anthony Waters - ILB
7th round comp - Will Herring - FS

Now, I know its 11 players, but these are also the players I believe will help the Pats out the best and provide them the best VALUE and have a legitimate chance of making the team.

And yes, I also know that there is almost no way that the Pats draft all of them.

FINALLY!!!!! The voice of reason!. You nailed it bro.

It just amazes me that this guy (Bruinz) consistently needs these (basic) things pointed out to him.

I noticed that you consistently use this "not just me" gimmick, in attempt to rally your little internet lynch mob against me. But here is a news flash bud... I SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU. Honestly... I feel sorry for you. It is pretty sad actually.

So, yes, There is every bit of chance that Revis could last until 28.

Is there a "chance"?? I suppose. There is also a "chance" that I will hit the lotto tomorrow. But it is HIGHLY unlikely, and makes your mock look weak and without any "real" thought (IMO).

But far be it from you to know what you are talking about.

^^^ Is that yet ANOTHER personal insult? lmao. Your opening line was "I don't insult you in every thread." Do you not see the irony in this?? You do it so naturally, that I bet you don't even realize it. Honestly; it is petty, and VERY unnecessary. ;)

You have no idea where its coming from? Glad to see that your memory is so short. And, yes, I am sure I have the right personn.

Please. Show me where/what you are talking about. I am really starting to believe that you are either VERY confused. or just flat out making it up. I have no idea what you are talking about.

To be fair, most impartial folks had Shazor going in between the fouth and sixth rounds. There was a large vocal group of Michigan/Big 10 fans who felt that he was a first rounder. He was a big hitter with very little actual skills in coverage or fundamental run support.

Of course, this doesn't diminish your point at all.
