I made my pilgrimage to Mecca today. After a odd situation where I locked my keys in my car outside of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, I entered, and was extremely impressed. I noticed how there were not very many Patriot-related things until you get to the "Super Bowl" portion of the museum, and then it was Patriot overload (hehe).

Anyone else been? Thoughts? Comments?

Pictures posted below!

Sound fantastic can't wait to see the pictures.

I went last summer with my dad, who is a Packers fan, and it was a ton of fun; really makes you appreciate the entire history of the game. I caught a lot of flack from him going through the entire thing until the Super Bowl displays and then I was able to gloat. I loved it, the whole experience. A ton of fun and I recommend it to any football fan.

I went in 03, I think. They had a nice display of paraphenalia from sb36.

There was a room where there was a circle of displays and each display reped a team. I remember seeing weeb ewbanks film projecter in the Jets section.
The Pats display was a tiny strip with mentions of Hannah, Mike Haynes and surprisingly Nick Buoniconti.
Behind the Pats display was the Packers display and that was no little strip.
It even had a bench that was on the field for Lombardi's last game there.
It was a great experience for me.
Congrats on your visit.

John Hannah's Hall of Fame Bust (sorry, no Haynes. My G/F apparently didn't realize she needed to take a picture of that, instead, i have a picture of Don Shula and Terry Bradshaw. I guess she thinks they are cute old men or something)

This is the exhibit about the streak. This was really cool to see, even though I knew about each game, it was cool to relive it.

And this is my favorite picture i think:

And that's all. Enjoy!

Hey thanks so much for sharing those, I'm not sure I could ever talk my husband into taking a trip there (he would rather fish than watch football  ) so that was awesome to see those pictures!

awesome stuff...

i remember going to the PFHOF too....but it was during high school, when i was a junior, and i didnt really pay attention to football...

i only recently really started watching football....ahhh what a wasted oppurtunity~~ lol

also, if anyone is interested, heres the Browns Stadium:

It reminded me a bit of Gilette, except it was on the water, which I thought was a great idea.

I wouldn't have checked it out otherwise, but it was next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:

Great pics, chunkypony! Makes me want to check it out for myself.

PS- you're not so chunky.

Glad you enjoyed it...was only in Ohio once and..the only museum we visited was the Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta....but that was quite odd... Hopefully someday I'll make it to Canton..

haha, I know. It's an old nickname I've had forever (since I was chunky), and it just kind of stuck.

Great pics, thanks. But is it my imagination or why is it every time i see pics of the Football HOF, it always appears like there's no people in there. I went to the hockey HOF a few years ago and it was packed with people. Were there any other people in there?

There was a small crowd there, possibly because it was a Sunday and it was raining, but the only time I ever ran into a problem with overcrowding or anything was these two kids who wouldn't let anyone else do the pass throwing activity. Other than that, I couldn't complain about the crowd at all. I would say there were probably 50 other people there.

Wow. 50 other people? I"m amazed by that. I'm tellin ya when I went to the Hockey HOF, there were probably about at least a thousand people there. I mean it was wall to wall! You'd think it would be the other way around. Anyway, thanks for answering my question, glad you had a good time.
