Adam Caplan, senior NFL reporter for Scout.com, reports that Dillon will be making his first official visit of free agency next week to the Titans. Tennessee is in the market for another big back, and Dillon could be just the answer they need to build a solid ground game to take some pressure off their sophomore quarterback Vince Young.

It will be Dillon's first official visit to any team.

If Dillon is trying to find the place where he can get the most carries, Tennessee may be it. But I'd be calling Andy Reid every day if I were him.

Dillon's status still has some significance to our situation. If Dillon doesn't sign anywhere before TC starts and Maroney doesn't practice then signs would be pointing to a possible reunion, depending on who we draft.

Well, the last rumour was he was going to The Bills, I'd rather see him away from NE's division, heck, who knows, he might do well with the Titans....

Wherever he ends up, ill wish him good luck (except the Colts):) , he done well with The Pats & was a big player when we needed him to be.

Corey Dillon to visit Tennessee

He should be sure to visit Graceland. The Jack Daniels Distillery also makes for a good tour.

I think Dillon ruled out the possibility of joining the Bills a few weeks ago. I don't blame him. He wants to end his career on a high note, and Buffalo isn't really the place to go if you want to win now.

Latest gossip has injury prone RB Chris Brown close to a deal with with either the Titans or Bills, according to Scout.com once again.

Ya, from what i remember reading, he was due to go there but he cancelled at the last minute but never stated why?

Well, Whever he ends up, Best of Luck to him, he turned his life / career around and i say fair play to him.

Question: Pats players come & go, some of the good guys left for money and we were disappoined / annoyed over that but why over ALL the guys that left is AV hated the most?? Is it cos he joined the Colts?, it sseems like that to me!

I thought a lot about a "reunion" with the Pats when I first read of Maroney's surgery. Even though LM will be fine (his Mom said so, per Scott Pioli, LOL) and as much as I loved Corey while he was here, there had to be a real reason he was let go.

Either it was Dillon not accepting what NE offered, or Dillon truly wants more carries than we are prepared to guarantee or it could simply be that the NE brain trust thinks he is pretty much done. Keep in mind that as good as Corey is at picking up blitzes, Morris is better. It could be as simple as the sound philosophy of it being better to part with a player, perhaps, one year too early, than, indeed, one year to late.

Whatever the reason, I think it was final - even though I would love to see him back for one more "run".

Yes, mainly. He had a chance to be a legend if he stayed here, but instead he left. Why? Not for money apparently because we offered the same as the Colts. He said he left because he wanted to play in a dome and Indy was the perfect fit. How lame is that? Leave for your arch-enemy because they have a dome stadium? :bricks:
