The only one reporting Bowens is signed is the Jetsinsider messageboard.......NO One else has this.

Not ESPN,NFL NET,no responsible reporter. This is only coming from a poster on their board.Nothing from the NY newspapers or the Team.

Is something amiss here??????????

Maybe it's inside info.

hmm...probly true but who cares?

If you would like to keep up.......The Pats are interested.

This is enough for me to believe it, from KFFL.com

Jets | Team agrees to terms with Bowens
Tue, 27 Mar 2007 17:21:23 -0700

Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports the New York Jets agreed to terms with free-agent DE David Bowens (Dolphins) on a three-year contract, according to an NFL source. The source said the contract is worth more than $6 million. Bowens could earn up to $8 million with escalators in the deal.

In any way, I would never want to pay that much money for depth on our already amazing D-line.

Honestly, I could care less if the Jets actually signed Bowens or not. I have no reason to be in denial about it.
