BREAKING: NFL VP of Officiating said to be partying with Cowboys Owner Jones

Hope it leads to him being fired, he's the worst thing to happen to officiating in the league.

From miscommunicating rules to not telling coaches them at all (see Belichick answering a question about the new emphasis).

Blandino is useless. What clinched it for me is that BS used car salesman explanation he gave for why Blount didn't make that first down in the ATL game last season.

Just imagine if the other party was a NE coach or other employee. The fighter pilots would have already nuked Foxboro...

Yup. If the Patriots are in any possible way involved, even tenuously, it's a national news story 24/7. If it's any other team of official, it's "meh... no big deal."

But that's fine by me. Let the hate consume them. It makes them weaker, while we thrive off of their suffering.

Goodell will probably pass a long a harsh fine of $5 to Blandino. That Goodell is a real hardliner.
$5? Hey, a fin is a fin is a fin...unless it's Patriot...

I'm with ya, Gwedd, but taking it up the wazoo time after time has gotten really tiresome, at least for me. My ass is unspeakably sore.

I heard a reporter asked GM Jerry Jones what it was going to take to get the cowboys over that 8-8 hump they have been stuck on for three years.

Apparently a bus full of strippers for the head of officiating.

Any wrong call this season and the cowboys are going to hear about it.

Was Goodell in the gangbang too?

Simply put, a conflict of interest=an appearance of impropriety.

Goodell has decided that the penalty for this transgression is: The Patriots have to give the Cowboys their # 1 pick and Kraft/Belichick have been fined $500,000.

I enjoy how fans of every football team feel they are the ones being treated unfairly and persecuted by the league and media. Cowboys fans are complaining about how the league always treats them unfairly and now it will be worse because now the league will need to demonstrate that this whole situation isn't giving them any favorable treatment.

IMHO, there just isn't much going on which is ridiculously out of line. If he visits the Cowboys and they take him out for a $500 steak dinner in Jerry's limousine, then nobody cares. But make it a party bus and it makes headlines.

What I really would like to know is what is typical for an interaction between a team and a visiting official. Are there rules against this sort of thing, or is going out for the evening standard fare? I would bet that while using a party bus is not typical, very little happened that doesn't take place in any other NFL city.

If Jerry gets a Blandino "a date" with one of those young girls, do you think that it might be a conflict in interest ? I certainly do. This has nothing to do with the Pats and their fans.

What a remarkably uninformed post. Conflicts of interest are the direct cause of many of the worlds woe's. If you think there is no favoritism in the NFL, you're not paying attention.
