hope its not to soon for the Gronk. Need him to go all season!

If gronk comes back healthy, I think he can beat his 2011 season performance. The bad luck will go away this season

Yep and expect a healthy dose of debates (during camp) where there will be a contingent of posters insisting he remain in bubble wrap until the playoffs, a legion of posters who will want him on PUP so he is fresher for the back half of the season and a few level headed posters who have to constantly remind some of these imbeciles that Gronk cant practice while on PUP (or in bubble wrap) and pro football players need to actually...practice.

Gronk playing 19 games this season would make me feel like this:

One of my favorite players ever to play the game. I can't wait to see him back out there.

Me too! Though..
..if ANY of our players make it to 19 games played it means we'd have made it to the Super Bowl.. ;)

Agreed, it's unfair how many injuries this poor kid has gone through. Even that great 2011 season he got hurt in the AFCCG and was a non factor in the Super Bowl. He can be an alltime great, the football gods owe him several injury free seasons.

That's excellent news. With him back into the fold, we could conceivably go 4-0 against that schedule until Browner comes back and rounds out the defense. Otherwise, I could see one loss in there somewhere.

Yes, he will make a big difference in our offense. His health will go a long way for the team.

I don't see that Gronk is "aiming for" Game One being excellent news.

We've had lots of players aiming for Game One in the past.

100%. Aim for when he's 100% healthy. I don't give a rat's ass which week that is.

I bet Gronk is back week one and ends up being comeback player of the year. He is closer to the physical type of freak that adrian peterson is who would come back and be fine

I can't argue with that goal, but I don't think it's likely to be a black-or-white decision. Three doctors could give you three different opinions, plus "healed" and "recovered" aren't necessarily the same thing when you're talking about elite athletes. Are we more concerned with risk of reinjury or effectiveness on the field? Is "100% healthy" the same as "100% strength" or "100% speed"? Etc.

If only people were like cell phones, with recharge meters that read out "100%".

I hear you, but there's no need to push for a certain week. If he's absolutely ready come week 1, that's nice. If he's not, wait another week. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. If that means that you're waiting on that last doctor's clearance for weeks after the fist two have cleared him, that's fine. The world will wait for the return of Gronk.

Like this aggressive week 1 target, I can't stand watching NEs offense without him. Rush him, do anything to get him on the field for game 1.

We all want Gronkowski back ASAP, but I think this article is nothing but speculation and the passing of time.

I highly doubt either one of Gronkowski or Belichick really know too much at this point in time, so of course both parties "are aiming for a week one return." Let's revisit the issue during the preseason, when he's more than 4 months removed from major surgery.

One loss to who?

We should beat Miami with or without Gronk... Minnesota and Oakland are wins.

Going into KC on a Monday night is tough but I see KC falling apart this year.

Our defense, even without Browner, can suffocate each opposing team's offense.

god to hear...excited to see him back on field
