On opening day, the schedule is getting realesed Thur April 5th, .. I think also they realese the Turkey day games as well.. My guess we will be at Baltimore sun or mon nite.. and at Dallas on Turkey day..

I hoped we would face the Colts in the opener but I hear it'll be Saints vs Colts.

Yeah, no way we play the Colts on openning Thursday night.

I really don't want to have to watch them raising their banner and all the Peyton ball washing etal.

But, what would be better than with the NFL playing up the Colts, only to have them stomped into the dome turf by the resurgent Patriots.....

What a chance to put that bug between those horseshoes...IT AIN'T EASY TO REPEAT!!!!

But IMO, the NFL wants no part of that..... The Colts will probably open against their weakest opponent at home.

NO COLTS FIRST WEEK!! Anyone else, ok!!

Could there be ANYTHING better than a mega storm of Peyton Manning ballwashing and the SB banner raised and then the Patriots rout their mother ******* asses. That would be just the most amazing feeling in the world.

HOW SWEET THAT WOULD BE. WE WILL GET THEM SOMETIME DOWN THE ROAD.ITS OUR TIME NOW.:singing: :singing:

it been our time for awhile they just slipped in their for a sec but we will knock thme back down and the sooner the better in my mind. I would love it to be opening day even though it seems it wont be.

.

well, even if that were the case.....

..colts fans would point out that if they could only win one game between the AFC Championship Game and the '07 season opener, they would want to win the AFC Championship Game.

In all fairness, that is what we were saying to Raiders fans in 2002 when they stomped us in Oakland.

It would be revenge, but not a full-redeeming revenge as the AFC Championship game was a much more important game.

Hopefully we can stick it to them in this year's playoffs.

It still could be NE on the Thursday night.....the only thing I have heard is people speculating that they will save NE / Indy for later in the season for Nov ratings maybe.

2007 will really define just whose time it is.......NE needs to win one more to be the team of this decade. Win two more and we could become the team of ALL TIME...how sweet would that be.

As it stands now though.......we need to win and we need to win now.

I don't think that they need to win any more to be the team of the decade. I don't see Baltimore, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay or Pittsburgh winning two more Super Bowls in the next 3 years.

We have the China game in the pre-season, no way they make us travel there to play, and then have to open on the Thursday night.

Plus, (as you pointed out) the networks will want to cash in on the Pats/Colts later in the season.

The opener is going to draw a huge audience no matter who it is that plays the Colts.
