I think when you don't agree with another post you should use the "disagree" button. First it's probably more what you are feeling than "dislike", secondly, it's much less personal and less likely to cause discord.

BTW- Ian, what happened to all the likes we had under the old format, are they gone forever?

I've been to that site. Those guys give your everyday nasty and mean people a bad name.. : eek:

Maybe a time limit on when a post is open for "likes" etc would make sense?

Sadly it looks that way. Those were included as part of an add-on for vBulletin for a now defunct company and Xenforo didn't have an import for them.

I've been looking at the old database to see if I might be able to put something together to salvage them as the set-up for this new system has some similarities. So I may attempt a test to see if I can't pull something off there.
