As Pats fans, who would you rather see the Dolphins get as their starting quarterback for the 2007 season?

David Carr or Trent Green

im not really concerned with who the dolphins get as their qb....as long as they have cam cameron calling the plays i think we, as pats fans, have nothing to worry about.

culpepper is better than both of them anyways.

I would rather have them get Trent Green. He is older and plus I think Carr is really underrated and just with an ok line he can really make things happen. This wouldnt off been the case if they just drafted Matt Leinart or Vince Young in last years draft.

Green has had success in the NFL. Carr never has. As a DOLPHINS' fan, I want Green.

What has Green done that you would deem successful ?

From 2002-2005 he tallied 4000+ yards passing seasons. 3 straight big years for Green with practically no WR to speak of. Green has been a very good NFL quarterback.

this from the clown who thought culpooper was better than drew breese:D :D :D

Um 2002-2005. That was two years ago. Plus after seeing what the COLTS defense did to Trent Green and the Chiefs offense. My god, Green was awful. I am not afraid of him and I am not afraid of Carr, he sucked against us but then again he has absolutely no O-Line.

well according to the stats, culpepper was abetter qb than brees....not to mention cpep's mvp worthy 2004 season, that was eclipsed by manning

and again, brees came off of a (major) 360 degree rotator cuff surgery on his throwing arm, and culpepper came off of a knee injury...dolphins would be "stupid" to take the guy with the shoulder surgery...

green looked like crap last yr when he came back
carr has always looked like crap
yes both could benefit from a change of scenery
but ill say now what i said last yr
thank God they did not get drew brees

carr had no oline while green had an exceptional oline, thats why green was able to rack up 4000 yards

not to mention green had priest holmes behind him, then larry johnson...i'd say they're just a tweek better than davis(williams now) and dayne...so yeah

How many Super Bowl wins did that get him ?

Green is a good, solid PROVEN QB - I picked him for the dolphins b/c he's older and Carr's struggles could have been due, at least in part, to a TERRIBLE O-line.

and imo...whoever the phins got, they wouldve lasted as long as cpep did...

1. i'm sure the saint's oline was an upgrade from the dolphins,
2. horn is a better wr than chambers, as chambers completely disapeared in the 06 season,
3. ronnie brown was going into his first year ever as the featured back, as he always in his career split carries, with ricky williams and in auburn with carnel williams as opposed to having a rested deuce or a rested bush splitting carries
4. emergence of colston as a #1 possession wr, and the versitility to form mismatches with bush in the backfield...main the ILB covers the HB, but if bush is lined up in the slot, the ILB will have a hard to keeping up, as we saw in the NFC champ game with bush's 80 something yard td...and also having another verticle threat in devery henderson....

henderson lining up in the #1 spot for horn, deep threat on the right, colston lining up in the #2 as a possession guy, and bush lining up in the #3 slot as another deep threat on the other side...

that lineup sure beats a diminishing chambers and booker 1/2 punch...mcmichael was dropping balls as fast as t.o. was the only real threat was welker, who just came off a punt return or kickoff return, and who was also traded to the pats this offseason....

The fish have not had a Qb since number 13, and could have had one last yr, but chose a lazy fat albert.. If I was a fish fan, I would hope for David Carr, but as a Pats fans I guess it does not matter to me..

Green. By far. When Carr was able to stay on his feet and actually get the ball off, he showed flashes of accuracy and power. He could be a very good QB with a decent O-Line in front of him.

Yeah and the fish heads were all babbling about Culpepper's 2004 season when he was totally awful in 2005 before he got injured. Stats from two years previously dont mean your getting a good QB. ;)

I voted Carr because i think Green will do the better job, and i dont want that with Miami being in our division. Im not to familiar with Carr, but do know Green. Green is actually one of my Favorite QB's in the leauge. I think Green is a winner and and a bigger threat to us, therefore voted for Carr.

As seen at the playoff,Green is horrible....Carr has more to offer...Come down to it either of there QBes scare me...
