Ran into a situation over the weekend where an individual piled up a lot of negative ratings toward other users here. Just for the record, since there's no anonymity behind these, if you suddenly start giving someone a multitude of negative ratings and they're reported to me, I'll review them and if necessary reverse them, and it could be grounds for having your account suspended.

If you genuinely "disagree" or "dislike" a post, you can certainly do so and you obviously won't be penalized. But suddenly going back and hitting a ton of old threads with them because you're angry at that person is unproductive and goes against the spirit of this system.

So please keep that in mind. Again, I have no issue with a difference of opinion. But we had one user who piled up over a hundred of them in a 24 hour period, and I went in and reversed them and subsequently removed that user. Needless to say, "that's not what we're looking for"

People are so petty sometimes. Good work, Ian.

The only time I give them out is when someone dislikes my posts in a debate. Naturally, I'm going to dislike their's. Other than that, I don't bother with the button. I think it was inferred that Beasley was actually me. I'm glad that's cleared up.

Any problem with multi-liking someones posts?

If you are referring to the post from DaBruinz I am almost positive he was referring to another poster. Either way it has apparently been dealt with and hopefully won't become an issue again.

Appreciate everything you do, Ian!

Haven't looked, but all users coming through have to be manually approved and I normally look for duplicate accounts, so people who have been banned or removed won't be able to sneak through.

Who Disliked a post by Ian?!

/grabs a pitchfork.

Kontra - Just to clear things up. You are NOT the person I was referring to. Though you and I don't see eye to eye, I know you aren't so petty as to create another account and start badgering, not just myself, but other posters as well.

I forwarded my feelings to Ian. I have faith that he'll take care of it.

No point in disliking Ian's posts as he admitted above that he can just go in and delete the dislikes

Couldn't we just settle this with a dance off.
I'm going to verbally disagree here as I'm not a very good dancer. I would be up for an old fashioned Belichick staredown contest where you have to stare at the other person like BB would if a reporter asked BB about a players injury during the off season.
