Man, is it just me or do the Jets really suck a bag of flatulent wind?

Beyond the valley of the stupidly moronic , morose, mawkish, mendacious meatheads.

BTW..expect it to take about a decade before the FIRST Jet fan deciphers this post.Born idiots.

No, of course you are not alone. I join you in sharing abject disdain for that noxious, puke-stained franchise.

What a pathetic franchise/city

The Green Beans blow it once again. They had the chance to get a real quarterback and go defense, as usual.

Jets defensive coordinator give lessons on how to pick up women.

To be fair, the article does say that nothing may have occurred. On the other hand, they also mention the 2010 training camp incident, when Jets players and coaches were harassing a female reporter. I had forgotten about that.

Jet fans harassing women?...Nah...could never happen...wha?

Too many positions are just god awful for the few areas of strength to overcome. Defensive line is the obvious strong point.

QB - Geno's development will be set back if not derailed by Vick being named starter. Vick is not in his prime, but can be streaky. When he gets injured, and he always does, Geno gets to play and he will show regression due to not getting the reps and coaching he should have gotten.

I would list all their DB's to make a point: "Who are these guys?" The only recognizable names out of 16 for me are: Dee Milliner, Kyle Wilson, Calvin Pryor(R), Ed Reed, and Ras-I Dowling. Reed's like 35 years old. Wilson was never great. Milliner and Pryor could be good. I recognize Dowling's name, but fat chance he is healthy. This team used to have Revis and Cromartie and could come up to the line and play pressure across the board.

Mike Vick (old, better than Geno, not good enough to really help though), Eric Decker (not a #1WR, production a result of Manning), Chris Johnson (me first guy with declining numbers, old for a RB).

Seriously, these guys should struggle to score 20 points every single game. Their defense is predicated on a stout front 4. Their LBs aren't even that good.

8-8 was a miracle last year. 6 wins seems like their level and another year where they have to reach to get a QB.

Teams won't want to play the jets? really?

the jets don't have any cb's and their quartebacks are ALL terrible.

their receivers suck too. browner will lock down decker.

Oddsmakers have the Jets listed as favorites in just 3 games as of now. I'd say the oddsmakers aren't exactly giving Wrecks high odds of remaining at the helm either.

I've got to say, I'd give the Jets a bit more credit than that; I'd take the over on an over/under

I want them to remain just mediocre enough to ensure Wrecks keeps his job to let the comedy continue

So, yet another Green Bean abuses/does something weird to a woman. OF COURSE Wrecks is going to defend him!
This all sounds like bologne. The final paragraph of the articles states:
"A 28-year-old woman accused Thurman of slapping her at a restaurant, but the manager of the restaurant told the New York Daily News that there were 13 witnesses who said the woman was acting “crazy” and that Thurman did not hit her. Police investigated and no charges were filed."

They weren't in Italy. Or do you mean they were all acting like Italians? Your idea sounds like baloney to me.

What do you EXPECT the restaurant manager to say? That Thurman slapped her? His customers are JETS FANS.

I would expect most restaurants in NY to have more Giants fans than Jets fans. To me, a restaurant manager with 13 witnesses has a lot more credibility than one woman. Did Edelman get off in that Boston club incident because it was all Pats fans?

Glad to see this thread back in the mix. The Jets suck. What more needs to be said? Carry on.

Q: What do you call everybody in a bar with Plaxico Burress?

A: Witnesses

Based on what? Doesn't it depend on which restaurant it is and where it's located? Why would Thurman eat at a restaurant full of Giants fans?

To me, a restaurant manager with 13 witnesses has a lot more credibility than one woman.
The restaurant manager said there were 13 witnesses. What did he do, count them and interview them? If the restaurant manager wants to keep serving Jets fans, he's going to keep the team's defensive coordinator out of trouble.

Did Edelman get off in that Boston club incident because it was all Pats fans?
Now you're being weird. I don't know if he got off or not. I don't care about Edelman's sex life.
