1.I found it interesting that Scott Crichton was the first DE who actually had a good report and he was #6.
2.As for those incongruities, one scout rated Ebron's hands "special" despite the fact he drops 11% of his passes.
3. Based on the DT, DE, and TE info I read, I'll have to revise my initial top 3 of Hageman, Niklas, and Ealy and change to Crichton, Easly, and ASJ
4. I don't want an ILB from this draft, but bast on these reports, Shazier and KPL still stand out as that hybrid "coverage LB" type that every team is going to need.
5. So I guess if I were drafting for the first 4 rounds I would do the following. Trade down to get 2 second round picks plus another early 4th. Then take ASJ and Easly in the 2nd, Crichton in the 3rd, and finally use your 4th round picks to select KPL, OLB, A.Williams RB, and either D.Thomas or D.Dozier for the interior OL with the idea of replacing Wendell NEXT season.
6. This was a very interesting piece. What I found so fascinating was how RARELY there was any consensus from the the scouts. Sort of like the draft board, but with actual direct knowledge.
. You get to see how hard it actually is to make a correct pick. There are rarely any real easy selections, even in the first round. By the time the Pats draft, every choice will have their questions marks
