24: Trade - Kirwin has the Titans taking USC's Jarret at #19. Their #2 need is DE, and CB may be #1 due to Pacman: Spencer and Houston are just the bait to wangle a trade back to #50.

#50 (400) + Ten's 2008 2nd (est. 400) + #189 (16.8). Titans outbid Lions who also want DE & CB (I want to move back further than 35 so Ten's 50 trumps Lions' offer). Trade value NE (815.4) Ten (816.8) (I think this could be a more favorable trade in real world terms, but within the rules...)
28: Trade - Kirwin has the Lions trading back and taking Brady Quinn in round 1 in exchange for Tampa's 2nd and 4th. Detroit needs OT, DE, CB, LB, or OG - Jets projected to take DE Harrell, Eagles S Griffin, & Saints OLB Beason:

50: LB Stewart Bradley (Nebraska) - I don't have the horsepower to trade up from 91, so I take my top ILB prospect and pypass favorites Gonzalez, Leonard, and Smith.
91: LB Brian Robison (Texas) - He edges out DeOssie, I think he will be stronger at ILB and is also a STs' stud.
123: SS Sabby Piscatelli (Oregon State) - This is the sweet spot in the draft, there are so many I like. Sabby has the size I want at SS, and speed + quicks to match WRs.
160: TE Kevin Boss (Western Oregon) - This kid wowed them in position drills at the Combine and his Pro-day.
187: ILB Anthony Waters (Clemson) - Reported to be a fine MLB before his knee injury, his Pro-day will give us some idea how well he is recovering. Bradley and Robison are candidates to play ILB or OLB, Waters is flyer on a medical risk and an experienced ILB to go with the two projects.
189: CB Tim Mixon (California) - I'd like to be trading forward to 2008 at this point, but projecting a partner is too much of a stretch. Mixon is the next slot receiver. In future rankings I expect Usama Young to move up and be a draft target here, for now he remains a UDFA target.
192: OT Herb Taylor (Texas A&M) - 4 year starter at RT, technician, surprised scouts with his fluid play at LT during Shrine Game.
193: OT Gabe Hall (TCU) - converted TE, quick hands and feet.
224: QB Cullen Finnerty (Grand Valley State) - Pats are one of 14 teams who have expressed an interest in him, same number as Drew Stanton.
