The Bitter Tears of the American Christian Supermajority

get over it buddy, who cares. Just like going to church, it's archaic. No one goes to church in Boston every Sunday, and if they do we don't trust them. We're smarter in the city

Sure.....I can sense your brilliance.

You can't actually believe that stuff. You go because you have to within your community. It's just easier for you, that's cool

To be fair, I doubt he gets along with too much of anyone within his community.

Actually, I do believe that "stuff".

Unlike you, I have done significant research on that "stuff"...whether it be Catholism, Christianity, or other non-christian faiths.

I "go" because I have faith.....a faith nutured by grace. As a Progressive, I know that it's impossible for you to understand. Plus, I'm sure it's much easier for you to do and believe what your Progressive Masters tell you to do and believe.

I'm sure it saves you lots of time rather then doing all the research that I've done.....well played sir.

Wow.....just wow.

Ladies and gentlemen.......the Progressive faith in a nutshell.

He's an atheist not a progressive. In a nutshell you're spewing your usual rhetoric with no substance. You're as ill educated about the different progressive faith as you claim everybody else is about the catholic church.

Exactly, you need hope. That's cool, if it makes you a better person all the more for it. But, just understand that's it's blind faith.

That is true because their views do not represent the teachings of ************ as taught by his holy RCC.

Yes, there is wide disagreement with the idea that mere mortals like current and past Popes represent and speak for ************. Try to keep up.

If you say so. How did you meet everyone in Boston, again?

The majority of them are empty

I guess we'll have to take your word for it. Not sure if an avowed atheist is the best source of information about churchgoers, but why quibble about actual evidence? SalemPats has declared it so!

I never said i was an atheist or not, quite frankly i just don't care. All i know is that I don't believe in talking donkeys, 900 year old people and things that defy logic. Do you ever think that the perhaps the bible is just a product of the time (especially the paganistic rituals).

So let me get this straight: you believe that nobody attends church despite not actually having visited every church in the Boston area, but feel comfortable poking fun at people who believe in things that they did not witness themselves? Seems legit.

are there really talking donkeys in the bible?

Making fun of the Torah? This is the wrong place... go look for an anti-Semite forum.

Brandon, I hear where you're coming from due to tone, but I didn't think that post was poking fun -- I think it's a legit question, and part of the reason many Christians aren't literalists.

oldrover, where is the anti-Semitism or making fun?

SalemPats mocks the books of the Torah quite frequently.

Progressives are renamed Marxist after the fall off the USSR, of course communism is militantly atheist.

The essence of the left is that it believes that the State confers rights on citizens whereas Natural LAw contends that Humans have inalienable right granted by their Creator.

Progressive Faith cannot abide Natural Law and people having freedom of religion. We see this in the history of the last 100 years and in the current assault on religion in the West.

This is all bs. Not surprisingly.
