I know, I know, don't kill the messenger....

Unlike most of you, I do not DESPISE Adam. While I am disappointed at his choice of joining the Colts, I am still very appreciative of all the great years of service he provided as a Pat.

For other fans who feel that way and want his autograph, you may want to check out this info.......

autographs are gay  .i wouldnt pay for anybodys .i dont want anybodys .

You know, way back when, I was disappointed in how personal people took Adam's "defection". I thought it was silly that people thought that way. A year later, I really don't carry too much nostalgia regarding the guy. Somebody else posted a signing by Antowain Smith. I felt more for him than AV.

Maybe I starting to accumulate some barnacles, but he was "just the kicker". Maybe I elevated him too much in my childhood, maybe I've moved on. I don't know. His snow kick vs. Oak was pretty cool, but the rest should've been made and he did. Thanks.

I'll prolly regret posting this. Thanks, Adam. I regain some nostalgia later..

I never understood the obsession with fans an autographs

If I lived near Brockton, I would go to the Shaw's Center, wait in line, and when I was next, I would take the money and burn it before the vinitraitor's eyes.

How dare that *****-hole.

Not that I'm going or even care about it, but just curious, when is it? Are people suppose to mail in their stuff and then have it sent back? Seems strange to me. It looks like Adam doesn't want to face the hostility.

Pardon my lack of autograph-savvy but is it typical for an ex-player to travel back to his original team's locale for autograph signings? Even if strictly mail-order it seems sorta curious that there would be a sufficient market for this once the player has been gone a full season? Just wondering.

just noticed that the actually appearance date isn't on that page.

it is 4/1/07 (no, it is not an April Fool's Joke)

if you want his autograph you can......

A.)mail in your stuff to have it signed
B.)go to the Shaw's center in person on April 1st

*prices for both are listed on the link

AV = GREED

Grogan's signings and so many others are for charity.

Real easy to seperate class from ass.

To answer your question...ex-players will travel back to their old areas as long as there is a demand for them. Sure Shot Promotions has actually done an excellent job at arranging autograph sessions for most of the 2004 Red Sox team. They are aware of the many people who want the entire team's autograph, and I know that have been able to arrange sessions with Orlando Cabrera, Pokey Reese, Kevin Millar, Pedro Martinez, and Dave Roberts even after they left the team.

Ditto....However, I must admit. Ty Warren and his family share the same dentist as me. Last time in (2 weeks ago) I met Mrs. Warren and she was as nice as can be. When I was on the way out the dental assistant told me she could get me an autographed Ty Warren authentic jersey. Natuarlly I jumped on the offer. I'm told I'll have it by mid april.

Seeing the threads on other signings I see the sense of it,now. Thanks brd!

Is it typical for players to charge for an autograph? I mean, isn't that a bit greedy?

At those prices they would have to pay me that fee for waiting in line for any autograph. What a joke.
