Watching All Access, the round table feels that Stallworth may be the most talented reciever that Brady has ever had in the NFL. What do you think?

Quite possibly. He is faster than Branch, although not as good as a route runner. Aside from Stallworth and Branch, I really like the receiving group going into next season. Caldwell and Gaffney have experience with Brady which will benefit the offense as a whole. Also, the additions of Stallworth, Welker and Washington are going to provide good competition during training camp.

Better than Chad Jackson???

Funny thing is.... if he's so good why did the Saints trade him?

I think he has great potential and had one better than average season last season, but until he produces the jury is still out.

I don't think there's any doubt about it. His numbers are as good as Branch's and that's with Aaron Brooks as his QB most of his career. He's bigger, faster and almost as quick.

Now, that's talent. It doesn't mean he'll click with Brady and have the same feel for the Patriots' offense as Branch did. But pure talent ? Definitely.

The question was talent. And he has the most talent. Also equal production. Will the talent equal the production, we'll find that out.

Technically, Glenn was the most talented WR Brady's ever had on his team. Too bad he was such a nutjob.

what else did they say on All Access?

Well, yeah, but I was going with WR on the team when Brady was actually playing :)

LOL. He actually played one game in 2001 with Brady. He lit it up, too. Unfortunately, he couldn't get his act together after that.

You're right, I had my years wrong. I was thinking Glenn's last year was 2000 but you are right that he was on the SB team because we were debating whether he should get a ring or not.

Anyway, aside from Glenn I think Stallworth is the most talented . . . now we have to hope he's also the best.

I definitely agree there. He's a burner, good hands, quick and good route runner. We haven't had a WR with those qualities for Brady. Branch came the closest, but I agree he's not as talented as Stallworth.

Talent-wise I'll bite...however one of the biggest things TB loved about branch was the fact that they knew what the other was thinking and could make adjustments at the line just by looking at each other.....time will tell if donte can get there!

Chad Jackson has talent and measurables.

Mike Williams has talents albeit lazy

Charles Rogers had talent

Look, the question was talent. Not who's the better player. Stallworth is the most talented WR since Glenn . . . now we'll see how good of a player he is.

One Word: MONEY
Two Words: Salary Cap

Besides the Saints had Joe Horn in place at the time.
They just didn't want to give him the big contract extension given the situation.
And now with rookie sensation, out of Hofstra, Marques Colston I doubt they are looking back.

Stallworth will be a stud for Brady though as long as he stays healthy. His speed is for real and he made some pretty big catches in the playoffs for the Eagles so we know he can be a big play threat.
Stallworth might be walking into the perfect situation for him. He could be the next free agent IRVING FRYAR. Yeah I invoked that name!

Stallworth has shown what he can do with far less than Brady throwing to him. Add the fact that Stallworth is playing for a huge pay day. I think I am going to enjoy this. :singing:

So, given that he has, for all intensive purposes, a one year contract. What numbers does he have to get for us to pull the trigger on the rest of the contract?

800 yards?

1000 yards?

or..?

Depends.

Is Chad Jackson a bust? Does Washington have any talent?

Will the Patriots use a high draft on a WR?
