Revolution on the verge of building new stadium in Somerville!

cool now they just have to focus on being not terrible

Ehh I'm kinda excited. I live 10 minutes away. They'll defiantly get more support up here then down in Foxboro.

Hopefully Kraft can build a Patriots pro shop in the area also! And maybe get them to do a TC session up here!

The season opening game at Houston was hard to watch. Team was very unorganized for the first 23 minutes which Houston capitalized on with no less than 3 goals. Revs did try to make a comeback but every chance was blown. The biggest goal chance was the one that Jerry Bengston missed two feet in front of an open goal.

Still I would rather have a game like that now when it's easy to forget about when it gets to crunch time. It's going to be a tough fight in Philly today but if any team that has shown how to bounce back from a big loss its the Revs.

And yes it would be amazing for the Revs to have their own stadium. You see the dedicated soccer specific stadiums around MLS that teams like Kansas City and Portland have. Absolutely beautiful stadiums that are meant for the sport. Revs deserve such a stadium. Badly.

..... I guess I was wrong. :(

Love going to see the Revolution ...

I will go less if/when the stadium is in slummerville ... access sucks from the south.

They are putting an orange line stop at Assembly row. I dunno if that helps.

I grew up around the East Cambridge/Somerville area...although I'm not that fond of Somerville, the city is definitely on the come up. Its pretty much an extension of Cambridge now.
