Great find thank you.
I do wish that NFL films would put this as an extra on History of the Patriots type of DVD.

Great find, thanks!!!!! I will never forget that game....still the most memorable to me:cool:

Thanks, that's a great way to put a lift on a miserable Friday afternoon down here in No. VA. But it hardly surprises me coming from a Crow Pointer!!!

I had some of the best times of my life in that place over the years. It was what it was but in a way I really miss it.

Many of Us grew up in the Old Stadium. While I certainly don't miss the old place I certainly maintain several memories of great times with great friends and The Irish Wake Analogy is certainly spot on ! We all should raise a glass this afternoon!

You said it Nocal.. I was 18 years old when my dad took me to the first ever Pats game played there. Have had season tix ever since and haven't missed many games since.

I love Gillette, but, ya know, I really miss old Foxboro Stadium......

I was 17 on the opening night in Foxboro and was sitting in my perch with Sully,Joe and Jack in Section 210 Row 18 Seats 11,12,13, and 14.Those were the days!

that was great

Awesome! I'm ready for kickoff! When does the season start?

Watching that again Madden and the other guy sounded like they were about to fall asleep. That was arguably the greatest ending even in a Superbowl and they sound so ho hum and unsuprised in their tone.

I could watch that sequence over and over 100 times. Best drive ever. By the way, "the other guy" was Pat Summerall, one of the best broadcasters ever. This Super Bowl had to be one of their low points as a duo. I smirk every time I see Madden because I always think of his call on this drive.

thanks a lot ! awesome !

i would have loved to see a game at the old Foxboro-Schaefer-Sullivan Stadium...

A great video that brought a tear (or two) to my eyes.

Section 219, Row 10, Seats 1, 2 and 3 when it open...eventually became just seats 1 and 2. I spent so great and not so great times there.

As horrible as the stadium was, I loved it there. It was the home, a real home, for the New England Patriots.

But when did Randy Vataha go bald? YIKES!!! I loved him as a kid. So much so, all of my cats (as a kid) were names after him.

Seeing Randy in that piece reminded Me again of a guy who sat in Section 210 and whenever Jim Plunkett went to Randy Vataha successfully ,He started a "R A N D Y V A T A H A" Cheer ! Whenever, Randy scored He would pop open a bottle of Champagne ! The guy lived in Buffalo,NY and I was always glad that I didn't have to ride the New York Thruway with Him after the games!

Yeah it was a pit but I really did like the old stadium when it was packed and jumping.
