Colin Kaepernick wants $18M per year from 49ers

that's a lot of tattoo money.

I think Aldon Smith is a FA next year as well.
The Seahawks must be anxious with the own players coming to terms on potential free agency

That works out to about $1 million per accurately thrown pass per season for Kaepernick

The time for winning QBs to be paid has to come eventually. SF, SEA have to deal with it soon. The NYJ shouldn't worry about it though.

Well, it's still better than the per-sack salary for Vernon Gholston. :singing:

Ah, welcome to the joys of winning the SB, Seattle.
Everyone on the team wants to get paid at an elite level…NOW!!!
Every 2014 opponent targets their game against you as their showpiece effort.

Kaep plays for SF. But Wilson will get paid sometime, too.

Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Big Ben, R Wilson and Luck are the only QBs worth 15M+

After studying 75 hours of tape on this guy I TRUULY BEEELEEEV he could be the greatest quarterback of all time.

$18M/yr seems like a bargain.

Kaepernick has a set of weapons that rivals Manning's weapons (Crabtree, Boldin, Davis, Gore) yet only throws 21 TDs and just under 200 yards per game. Don't forget the 49ers great OL. He would be awful with Wilson or Luck's lack of weapons.

The 49ers should let him walk after next season, but of course they won't.

I sure hope he gets his $18 million because I'd love to see NaVorro Bowman, Aldon Smith and/or Patrick Willis in a different (non-Jets) uniform.

Phillip Rivers is close.

He had a great rejuvenation streak last season. I used to hate the guy but now realize that like another QB we know, he's a fiercely emotional competitor.

He and Flacco are nearly unbeatable when playing for chicken nuggets. Pay him!

I like Kaepernick, but that's too much. Salaries to one player like that kill a team.

This is good for the Pats as it weakens a potential Super Bowl opponent
