Wilfork - 11,600,000
Sopoaga - 3,500,000

Bequette - 709,950

Carryover: 5,607,914

Total cap outlay: 126,724,967 (NFLPA has 125,631,543, some or all of that possibly because of roster bonuses not being tabbed)

If anyone notices errors I've made, please let me know and I'll make any needed adjustments as long as the system allows me to.

I love your work, and I certainly acknowledge the efforts, but I had to make a decision based on utuility v. 100% contract data application. In the end, I went with the higher cap outlay in order to be safe, because I took currently unearned bonuses (i.e. Nink's) into account. As a result, I used a lot of your stuff and blended it with Jason's and the NFLPA, which allowed for a fair amount of double checking. I'm within about $1m of the current NFLPA number while adding those bonuses (1,093,424), so I'm feeling fairly comfortable with my overall approach, although I'd love to correct specific errors if they can be found.

Of note, in direct response to your post, I have the same dead money total that you have ($8,533,721).

Totals if one includes Ebner, Chris White, and Matt Slater in the Special Teams grouping

Defense 56791966
Offense 59763376
Special Teams 7801318

Totals if one does not include Ebner, Chris White, and Matt Slater in the Special Teams grouping
Defense 58031116
Offense 62030044
Special Teams 4295500

So we match up there, since I had Slater as a WR, White as a LB and Ebner as a safety. That also evens us up at LB and DB. We remain unreconciled at WR, OL and DL (DL seems to be just a matter of Nink's bonus).

I adjusted my number for Ninkovich because it appears that his 250K playing time incentive is not yet counting against the cap.

Yeah, this is where I chose to go different, in order to avoid people posting something like "I thought that signing would work, so why am I short?".

I'm still trying to find out the sources of the differences at WR and OL. I'm sure the mistakes are mine but, since they led to higher cap numbers, I kept them out of a sense of erring conservatively for the purpose of the exercise.

My figures came within a dollar of Miguel's, but it's probably a rounding error ;)

Get off your lazy asses and build me a proper template to play around with...
