It's far too early to write anyone off. In 2003 at this point, we hadn't added Harrison or Colvin to the roster. We looked to be having an uneventful offseason that year two weeks in. We also have the draft to go.

I do think there could be a shake up in the NFC East, AFC West, and AFC North just because there were many teams very close in terms of talent at the top. One or two moves by any team and the division leaders (well, maybe not San Diego) could change.

My picks for the teams that won't make it next year in the AFC: Jets and Cheifs. Both shouldn't have made it last year and proved to be a fluke.

Teams that will make it next year: Denver and Cincy.

Teams that will not be in the NFC playoff picture: Giants and Eagles.

Teams that will replace them: Toss up between 9ers,Carolina Panthers, Cowboys and maybe the Packers if they land Moss.

Jets out for sure. They look weak, very weak.

AFC Out:
Baltimore - Major losses to the offensive line and weakening of defensive depth.
KC - Didn't belong here last year, team in decline

AFC In:
Cincinnatti - The only team in AFC north not in decline
Denver - Probably our greatest challenge in 2007

Note that I am picking the Jets over the Jags. I think Jacksonville is an overrated team with a poor coach, plain and simple

NFC Out:
NY Giants - On the verge of rebuilding again
Dallas - Poor QB, bad offensive line, new coach, TO

NFC In:
Green Bay - Defense is getting decent and team could be on the verge of landing Moss
San Francisco - 3-4 defense taking shape, offense coming together, I predict today that this team is a major contender in the NFC

AFC
Out: Chargers, Ravens

In: Denver, Cincy

NFC
Out: Dallas, Giants
In: St. Louis, San Fran

Jets out for sure. They look weak, very weak.

I don't know what makes you say that. They haven't lost anyone significant and they've added Thomas Jones to their running game. I'm not rooting for the Jets or anything, but they don't look weak to me.

My picks:

AFC OUT: Chiefs, Chargers, Jets

AFC IN: Broncos, Titans, Bengals

NFC OUT: Giants, Seahawks

NFC IN: 49ers, Redskins

AFC: Chiefs (lucky to be in this past postseason, turmoil at QB position, aging team)
_____Ravens (McNair is washed up, loses on defense, Bengals want revenge)
_____Jets (least talented out of playoff teams, went as far as possible)

NFC: Saints (most of their stars are injury prone, this team isn't used to division champs' pressure)
_____Cowboys (Wade Phillips is uninspiring, too many on this team are more concerned with their own fame)
_____Giants (Coughlin is a lame duck, they lost their best offensive player, too many malcontents)

Chiefs and Jets will not be in the playoffs

Bengals and Broncos will be in...

Chiefs
Ravens
Maybe the Jests if Chad has a "typical" year
Bears
Seahawks
Giants
Eagles
