LOL Marino + Sharpe out @ CBS [Post Edit -2/24- Be Careful w/ Premie Celebration :( ]

LOL, Marino and Sharpe out at CBS, Gonzalez in

Christopher Price @cpriceNFL I know you guys will be bummed out about this, but per @Ourand_SBJ, Shannon Sharpe is out & Tony Gonzalez is in as part of CBS/NFL shakeup.

Ben Volin ✔ @BenVolin CBS' pre-game lineup next year will be James Brown, Tony Gonzalez, Boomer Esiason and Bill Cowher. Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe are out

The executives are coming, the executives are coming! Mr. President! We need the National Guard! We need as many men as you can spare because CBS is killing Shannon Sharpe!

Marino out will take the Marino-Manning can't git 'er done comparisons out of folks' minds

Good. Every time Sharpe came up I just wanted to feed him a carrot so he'd shut the **** up.

They must have thought Marino's contribution was at best, minimal. I never, ever, could imagine what they saw in Sharpe. He was about the dullest knife in the drawer. Maybe his schtick appealed to some segment of the audience I am not familiar with. I thought he was abominable.

Marino and Sharpe were definitely the weak links of the broadcast. Marino brought absolutely nothing in terms of analysis. Sharpe was just an idiot who was the Michael Irvin/Cris Carter of that broadcast who was there to say more outrageous things (and he was a lite version of that).

I'm really going to miss not watching Marino and Sharpe.

Wait ...

Cool it'll be interesting to watch, I tend to watch CBS more than the rest can't stand ESPN or FOX.

CBS is trying to get rid of their idiots. First Dan Dumbledork and now Melba Toast Marino and Mushmouth Sharpe.

In other news sales of Oates and Hair Gel are down....

Gonzalez I bet will be good. he has always been a very articulate guy. Shannon wasn't the Sharpest tool in the shed, I can't say I'm sorry to see him go.

I don't care that Sharpe is gone. All he did was remind me of how much I missed Deion Sanders in his spot. I find Sanders very entertaining and you need at least one funny guy on the panel.

Every pregame should do this, have only three or four. I can't stand six of these idiots fake laughing the whole time.

Finally! Don't really care about Marino but, Sharpe was the worse.

Sharpe tried to play the funny guy but was painfully bad at it, and not even Lee Corso bad where it's so bad it's good.

I didn't think they would can Marino. I'm not disappointed about Sharpe, though!

I can't stand Marino or Sharpe so all I can say is finally. The funny thing as much as I hate Shannon I actually really enjoy Sterling. I might not always agree with Sterling's take but at least he backs it up with game tape unlike his brother. I think part of it as well for full disclosure is Sterling picked the Pats to beat the Rams in 01 and actually gave a lot of the reasons that came true.

Post of the year! F*** Sharpe and F*** the Broncos!

"mumble mumble mumble shouting mumble mumble mumble players name mumble"

*holds up gloves*

"mumble mumble team name"

This is the best news ever. shannon sharpe has the worst annunciation on television, couldn't understand anything the dude said. althought ill miss the rage in bill cowers eyes as he's starting to go really in depth about a major topic and shannon would but in with something stupid like "mumble bumble mumble mumble"
