Just loving those Pats: Washington gushes about team

Article

“I believe the Patriots are just a great dynasty,” said Washington. “I feel the system they run there fits me perfectly and just the whole mentality there is all about team. I want to be a part of an organization who has dedicated themselves to winning. You can’t pass up being coached by (Bill) Belichick and getting balls thrown to you by Tom Brady [stats]." -Washington

“When it all came down to the pros and cons, New England was definitely my decision by far.” -Washington

Decision was apparently easy for Kelley.

Well at least we know he's happy to be here. What's wrong with that?

While I do not expect him to say anything less, saying this is good for all of us.. I think this guy is a sleeper, coming to this team will really benefit him and the Pats.

Yes. I second that.

If you listen to his interviews, he seems pretty intellegent, which is a good thing.

You got to think this too...tom brady is the only top qb with no real weapons on WR.He know if he is successfull not only a big pay day but also alot of success which has eluded him for his career.

I expect that he will be a better project than Terrell or Andre Davis, but we'll see. He certainly has the talent.

He has so much upside, great tools and now he is really playing for a contract, so I expect him to elevate his game, if he doesn't no big cap hit.

Exactly. Felger's mocking sarcasm is uncalled for and inappropriate for a news story. If Fleger wants to be snide and condescending then he needs to get himself a columnist's job. What is it with these childish writers like Felger and Borges? How could they be so foolish to not see that their overt, immature distrust of anything Patriots not only undermines their credibilty, but impedes their growth and stature as accomplished writers? of course, I'm probably giving them too much credit since they haven't been able to realize such an obvious fact...

Washington is really saying all the right things.

The Pats wideout corps is in a great scenario in which all of these guys are going to have to work their a** off to a) make the squad b) get PT c) prove their value in $ to the Pats and to rest of the league.

It's a dream scenario for Belichick. The competition at wideout is going to be great for the team.
