Saints agreed to terms with S Kevin Kaesviharn on a four-year, $10 million contract. The deal includes a $3.25 million signing bonus.

Kaesviharn adds a veteran presence to a youthful secondary, but his play-making ability can't be overlooked after he picked off six passes as a reserve in 2006. The former XFLer will at least help in nickel situations, and could start as Roman Harper rehabs from his torn ACL.

Titans signed CB Nick Harper to a three-year contract.

In the process, Tennessee steals a solid starter from an intradivision rival, but Harper doesn't have any recent experience in the man-to-man defense the Titans run. Still, they need insurance because Pacman Jones' status for 2007 is uncertain. Terms of the deal are unknown.

Any loss for the Colts is a good loss :)

Pacman Jones, that's right. The Titans have to move on that one,I think I read he's in trouble again lol. Nick Harper is a nice loss for the Colts :singing:

The Saints desperately needed secondary help, but I must have missed it when they signed the starting corner they require.

Yeah, I'm waiting for that too. They struck out in free agency and will likely draft one in the first two rounds.

The guy with the lisp and Schefter (nfln) think that the Saints are going to go with Houston or Nelson.

No way Nelson is still on the board. I'm sure the Saints will love it if Houston is still there, but I'd doubt that too.

Once again, the Colts lose a defensive player - but hey, at least they've got Peyton, Harrison and Wayne sewn up. The one D they've kept is the right one, I'll give 'em that.

Long live the XFL! :rocker:
