Rather than a new thread for revery comment or prediction, I figured it would be better to consolidate all that into one thread as we are now not much more than 24 hours away from kickoff.

Taking a break, will try to get the defensive stats up in a bit.

Go Seahawks!

Come on Meteor Strike! :flame:

The only way I'll be watching the Super Bowl is on replay if the Seahawks win.

John Elway certainly has not aged well. I wonder if he drinks a lot.

I predict the refs restrict the Seahawk defense by calling a bunch of penalties and Denver wins easily...then Richard Sherman's head explodes

As Bledsoe told Brady before the drive that got Vinatieri in range in
SB 36, "**** that, go out there and sling it."

Pete, give Wilson the chance to win the game. The conservative gameplan won't work tomorrow IMO.

Dear God and Baby Jesus too. Please let Payton Manning stink out the joint on Sunday, losing by 14+. This would make me very very happy and I promise to be nice to old people and puppies. Please let Manning lose for I hate him and his family. Sorry for being so petty but I am what I am and what I am is a Manning family hater of the first degree.
Respects,

R

well Belize...you're in luck...THIS weekend only Joe Kerr's Church Of Good Looks is having a special, all inclusive forgiveness festival wherein our own Pastor Buck, for the minimal donation of $500 cash, will ameliorate all your previous sins. Just plunk down the cash, say 5 Hail Belechicks, 3 Our Bradys and go in peace..or to pieces if that is your wish.:D

Which outcome will lead to fewer Peyton Manning related threads on Patsfans? That is what I want.

There's a option for a Broncos win that will no upset anyone. Manning throwing 3 picks in the first halt and Osweiller tossing 4 TDs including the game winner in the second half.

Aww, yeah!

All hail the Forehead, kids.

He's gonna win IN THE COLD and send you all crying into your sleeves for some reason. No need to hate. The Forehead is a benign entity. He will not harm you nor your wonderful families.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but you'll have to turn off your televisions for a while afterward, perhaps. But please remember that the Forehead means you no harm; in fact, he's on your side in the long run. He loves kittens, hates crime, and prays for world peace...just like you.

I got my money on Denver -2.5.

Also, I hope Richard Sherman fouls up something fierce.

I love Super Bowl Sunday. Just hope it's a fair game with no whining outlets after the fact. I don't think Denver has the game in the bag by any means, all kidding aside. Definitely be an interesting game to watch going in.

Picking the Broncos........at least it is better than last year.

This will never happen, they realize who the GOAT is and can't stand the fact. I wonder why they can't be happy having the best NFL coach of the 21st century..

...

He's gonna win IN THE COLD ...

I am starting to feel a certain inevitability to the Broncos winning. Manning has so many in-sync weapons and is showing no sign of choking, while the defense seems to have solidified in the absence of Miller. I'll just keep hoping the 'Hawks can pull it off, that a week to adjust to the time zone turns around the whole not-the-same-team-on-the-road thing, and that the D can own Manning & Co.

As far as "in the cold": Last I checked gametime forecast is temps in the 40s. That's not even cold by the generous standard most in the media use for "cold" games (40 or below; should be 32 IMO). If the Broncos do win, I just hope we don't have to hear how he proved he can win "in the cold." He got a bright late autumn day for the AFCCG (Pats fault for not beating Miami) and now he's catching a break today.

I haven't watched or read any coverage of the SB in the two weeks, but everywhere i go on the web i see The Forehead. On yahoo, the daily news, the daily mail, google news, in passing through bspn its been horrible. I can't imagine how bad it will be if he wins. Please, Please, PLEASE Lord let Seattle win

The outcome of this game will impact my offseason thinking for the Patriots on some level, this is the perfect game for the “offense vs. defense” debate. As many of us focus on the needs of our offense this game may once again prove that defense wins championships and we should instead be looking to further strengthen our defense this offseason instead of just trying to match Brady’s weapons to Manning’s.

what's that stat?....the last nine # 1 defenses to play in the Super Bowl have won it?...is it 9 out of 11? I like Seattle in this game. I think they knock Welker out, and knock Manning off his spot. Otherwise they're in for a long day.
