Will we have a Troy day or anything at halftime?
Class man all around and a true Patriot

The man belongs in the Patriots Hall of Fame, IMHO, and I'm sure there will be some kind of recognition accorded if and when he does decide to retire.

I'll have to retire my Troy Brown jersey....

...standing ovation...

one of the best players we ever had imho - a true Patriot !

I hope they keep in him the organization in some way

It will be interesting to see if he does take a job with the Pats and at what position. Reiss responded to an e-mail I sent asking if Troy or Tedy had either shown any interest in coaching, they haven't. Too bad, I think Troy would be good at it - he'd make a heck of a Special Teams' coach.

I will shed a tear.
He embodies the selflessness that has brought us three Lombardis.

No doubt. He definitely should have a day of recognition and a spot in the Patriots' Hall of Fame.

How about one of those huge pictures of him on one of the entrances

Troy for WR coach some day?

I thought I'd read that Kraft had already offered him a job with the organization if he wants it. Troy's response was that he'd like to spend sometime in SC with his kids.

Jonathan Kraft has said several times that they are trying to decide how best to honor Patriots history and have discussed a museum or a ring of fame... I hope they do something soon. I know you can't retire every number but a ring of fame or something would be cool.

I only have one word for him....

TRUE PATRIOT

Could he be a scout for us and check out the SE teams?

Ted Johnson got a halftime ceremony against the Jets in '04, so I'm sure there will be something big planned for Troy.

No way! The best way to show respect to a player is wear his jersey once he retires.

Dittos to that. I have a Red Sox #25 Jersey (Tony C and if you have to ask who's Tony C...you're way way too young) that has gotten me positive comments in Philly, Baltimore and other cities when we've gone to see the Sox.

Something like the Cowboys did. I agree because I think we have so many remarkable players with more yet to come.
Troy's a special one,though. Mr. Bingo:rocker:
