Interesting list came out today from footballperspective.com. They used a statistical method that accounted for TD's, INT's, and sacks then adjusted for era, opponent defense, and placed higher weight on championship and SB games.

That's right, over all three Ravens games, both Chargers games, 2005 Broncos, etc. Also contributing was the one and only Scott **** smear (now there's an unbiased observer, if you go to his twitter he's got a picture of Belichick with his face in his hands, yep, really neutral).

You can use stats to make the results come out any way you want. So, yes, by this particular formula, Brady is #11...which means that by this particular formula Brady is #11...in other words, it means...nothing.

I sure can't wait for the Draft, can you?

Playoffs is just a small sample size with overreaction all around. That and generally better competition and therefor lower success rate.

Down the bottom is the list of actual playoff records. Total wins (Brady), or percentage (Bart Starr with a decent amount of appearances IMO) I think (quick look)it's Brady Montana Bradshaw Aikman and Starr in some order. You may think differently.

Some formula besides wins is just stupid, you don't get style points.

The formula adjusts for opponent defense so you get credit for facing a tough defense. The formula gives more weight to the Superbowl because its the most important game. Would you rather have a good performance in the wild card round or Superbowl?
