- Saying Seymour not participating in offseason work out

- Seymour was giving praise for Tony Dungy, saying is refreshing for a team that loves to play for its coach..

- Krafts looking to fire Belichick , because of Krafts wife is not fond of Belichick off the field stuff

The only thing that he said that I took from his interview, there may be a good reason why Belichick may not have his contract details announced.. His divorce and the contract is soley his.. The wife would not be entitled to his contract.. That was interesting..

But the rest I would take with a grain of salt..

Well Seymour is coming off surgery so if he's missing that's probably why. Fire Belichick ? Good luck with that. Allowing him to leave is one thing but he's unfireable for a while.

These rumors have been going around for months, they mean nothing.

Remember when Tom Jackson said that Patriots players hate their coach.

This is hilarious. I love how people automatically assume that by praising another situation, you are knocking yours.

Perhaps he was speaking from personal experience because HE plays for a team that likes to play for its coach?

I love the way the media tries to paint Myra Kraft as the "morality" police. It just isn't so. This all comes from YEARS ago when she objected to the Pats drafting a kid who was accused of RAPING someone. I think she might have had a point.. To the Pats credit they never signed the kid. Ever since then any issues of "morality" have been ascribed to Myra. If any of you ever get to meet her, you will find her as charming and funny as I did. She's anything but a prude.

BTW- Prisco has been an ass for years. Just another media egomaniac, who hates the fact that BB won't suck up to them.

Let me get this straight. Belichick's contract is solely his, not his wife's, eh?

Hmmm, I think all people going through a divorce should talk to BB about how he managed this without a prenup.

BB is blazing trails not only in pro football, but in the history of law in the United States. The guy is amazing, isn't he?

As for Kraft firing Belichick, Kraft would have to sell the team before he fires BB. I can guarantee you that. I'm a diehard Patriots fan, and I can tell you Kraft would lose me if he did that. I really wouldn't root for a Kraft owned Patriots team as long as he owned it if he pulled that.

That's how I read it, too. Why? Because it's written that way. :)

One only needs to look at the source to understand the validity of these statements.

If Myra has a heavy "puritan" hand in the organization, how did we get the Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar out there?

Two questions: Did you actually ASK Myra about her role in policing Patriots personnel and whether she had concerns about BB off the field? (She's listed on the team's Board of Directors in case you didn't know.) Also, does she look as much like Marv Levy up close as she does in photos?

While I take Prisco's stuff with a grain of salt, this isn't the first time it's been reported that Myra is actively vexed over BB's public image.

The point is that Belichick WANTS his contract to be all his.

If he announced a new mega deal before the divorce was complete, his wife's legal hand would be strengthened considerably.

Exactly, which is why Im starting to wonder about why the contact is not announced..

Also the way Prisco tells the story he makes it sound Seymoer does not like playing for Belichick, but again I would take what he says with a grain of salt.. Seymoer has a family in SC and wants to spend time with him..

Don't get me started on how men get screwed in divorces (and, no, I'm not divorced).

I agree with Dave, though, it's OK for Seymour to compliment one coach without it being a slap to the face of our coach.

I had this on in the background while I was talking to somebody. To me Prisco put it that if the Pats had a couple losing years Kraft wouldn't find it hard to get rid of BB because Myra is not too fond of him. Not that he was currently looking for a way to fire him.

didnt kraft recently praise BB and the season we had last yr inspite of the colts loss. ?i thought i read a globe article on that.
These are media hacks designed to challenge the pats to disclose BB's contract since none of these guys know any way of knowing it. So they are hoping that someone will leak official news about BB's contract or the pats will make an announcement

a couple of losing seasons would not be enough to fire Belichick.. Belchick has earned a lifetime deal with the Krafts, and he can coach as long as he wants to coach...

2 Answers, First, NO it was a social event, and I only spent a few minutes in conversation. It was from that conversation that I derived my comment.

2. Just by asking that question is all I need to know about you....idiot.

Kraft canNOT hide BB's contract from a divorce proceeding. If the Patriots were not forthcoming, then the info would be subpoened.

I agree wholeheartedly. Here's to many more years of BB being around.
