That's a bit extreme, I thought the playcall were great except that Brady wasn't making them.

Idk, his players are pretty crappy and Brady missed a few throws and the Oline was a sieve.

Ridely averaged 3.4 YAC and Vereen averaged 8.5 YAC. Blount struggled. Everytime the Pats lose they panic and get pass happy ending in the same results.

Denver has an above average run defense and a sieve of a pass defense. Plus, the partiots were down most of the game. There was nothing wrong with the gameplan. Execution and the ineffectiveness of the outside receivers were the issues.

I don't see Josh McDaniels getting fired, but let's be honest -- there was some awful playcalling yesterday. Top two poor decisions off the top of my head are:

1) Second drive of the game, 3rd & 3, deep ball on an outside route to Matthew Slater, a guy who has 1 catch on 3 targets all year. There are many higher percentage plays/players that could have been used in that situation.

2) 2pt conversion attempt in the 4th quarter, running it with Vereen up the middle. I'd rather have seen them hand it to any of our other backs, Develin included. The opening was there on the play, at least enough that one of our bigger backs would have had a better chance to muscle through the contact into the end zone.

Brady had two big misses on the deep ball. Amendola dropped an important pass. Knighton dominated in the middle. But I think McDaniels deserves a good amount of flack for the above poor calls, among others, and for putting together lackluster gameplans for two consecutive AFC Championship games.

Yes, his playcalling is part of what got us to those games, and yes it's absolutely incredible to have your team play at a high level year-in, year-out, but you want some of that regular season success to translate into postseason success, and for Josh McDaniels in his two tenures as our Offensive Coordinator, it hasn't happened.

Fair points. Patriots came out relatively flat compared to the Broncos.

Where are the innovative game plans on offense that NE won 3 Championships with? You have to have a plan to keep the other team off balance. Something new that they havent seen before. McDaniels plans suck when the chips are down and they dont fool anyone.

except that those were more well rounded teams, and the defenses were top notch. Those teams usually won by six points or less

Yep, Josh missed the wide open Edelperson on the deep pass. Josh made the call to go for it on 4th and 2 instead of getting the 3 points. Josh was counting on the cheap shot by Welker to take out the best defensive player on the field. There was a lot of blame to go around on this one.

If Brady says he loves playing for McDaniels is he lying? Is he too stupid to realize us fans know what's better for the team? Sit back down on the couch and enjoy your offseason. Btw they are not going to draft the players you want or sign the free agents you desire.

What an utter complete load of crap. Um, as to your:

A) You mean after it's not working after two freakin series and the best weapons you still have at your disposal are RBs and you have an O-line thats excelling at road-grading and struggling with the pass rush and the only thing that's been making the passing game click for the last half of the season has been teams biting hard on play action??

B).......huh? They stonewalled Blount the first few runs because they knew it was coming. I actually thought Josh was going to be smart (never a good idea I've learned) and come out throwing to start the game. Utterly predictable game plan right out of the gate.

C)This gets even better. They abandoned it before they were even down 3-0! Yea that's really being forced to "open things up" when you're behind. LMAO

And I will try to be polite and say that I beg to differ with your last sentence. McD misread the situation in just about every way humanly possible yesterday. He didn't cause the loss and execution was a big problem as well, but just to think that an NFL Offensive Coordinator would 1)panic and abandon what has become the only strength of his offense, and 2)not realize that keeping the ball away from Manning was almost as important as scoring, is just mind-boggling.

He's proving time and time again that he freezes in the biggest games and is incapable of knowing when and how to make adjustments.
