I want Seattle to win. They winn and you wont see them again.
The only reason I root against Manning is not Manning but the media. The media will be forced to admit they were wrong about Manning vs Tom. Just like they were wrong about Obama.

Just the mood I am in this morning.

but to me its.

Who do you want to see win a SB less?
Welker* or Carroll.

* Yeah, I know.

I can't stand loudmouth players and the talent doesn't matter. I'm still trying to come to grips with the idea that Sherman's lack of respect is a 'breath of fresh air' to anyone.

I can't stand Peyton Manning.

I don't care too much for the NFC either.

Then again, Denver isn't one of my favorite teams.

Okay, I'll go with the Broncos in this one, but that could change when it comes to game time.

This is a classic matchup. The best offense vs the best defense.

Haven't decided who I'm rooting for but I LOVE the way Seattle plays defense. That's how they used to play in the NFL back when men were men and before the era of arenaball.

Deion Sanders called the Seattle defensive backfield the "best ever". They are that good but because they play out in Seattle many folks don't know much about them other than Sherman and his mouth.

Going to be fascinating to watch this matchup.

Really looking forward to this Super Bowl.

I get the rivalry. But I never have understood the Manning hate.

Peyton has handled his career with class. I do not believe that his success takes away from Brady's

Sherman has proven time and time again he is a poor winner and a loud mouth

No way in heII

First of all, I would never root for Fivehead.
Secondly, if by some chance he manages to win, the non-stop vomit vest from the media would make me reach for a revovlver to put in my mouth.
Thirdly, it's the friggin Broncos. They are almost as nauseating a team as the Jets. They wear orange and ripped off their logo from the old CFL Baltimore Stallions for gawd sakes!

Finally as to Sherman, yeah he's loud, but he's also good! I have no problem with his post game outburst yesterday becuase let's face it, Crabtree and Boldon are a couple of obnoxious knobs themselves, and they deserved everything they got.

Richard Sherman's rant of an "interview" reminded me of "professional" wrestling. Roudy Roddy Piper or something. Just ridiculous.

I am rooting for Seattle, just because the NFL and the media want Peyton Manning to win, and I feel they are doing everything in there powers so he rides of into the sunset with another ring..

I want Sherman to break Welker too.

Payton Manning hasnt won a ring since 2006 and the guy is on the TV 24/7. His brother has won 2 since and you never ever see him anywhere.

I cant understand why anyone would want to see see Payton Manning win another ring when he is already all over the TV. Imagine how bad it will be if he wins one now. They will probably have a Payton Manning channel or give him his own TV show. Start comparing him to Bill Russell.

I can't believe this faking thread. I hope Seattle kills them. Who cares about Sherman. Guy is a good player and we wont ever be hearing how he is better than Tom Brady.

I consider this the worst thread in the history of this site. There are some real idiots on here who dont understand how over the top ridiculous the Payton Manning love will be if he wins another ring. How is this guy still on TV so much NOW when he hasn't won one in 7 years and has not even played well in the playoffs?

LOL, I don't base my rooting on who respects Brady and the Pats more.

I base it on who has the best chance to knock the block off of who I can't stand. At the moment? It's Peyton and Welker. Oh, and Elway, but unfortunately he can only be pounded emotionally.

Go Hawks. They deserved a Superbowl from way back when the refs handed it to the Steelers anyway.

I would never root for Peyton Manning, period. Sorry.

Hello no.

You think Richard Sherman is annoying? That's fine, but think about the possibility of having to argue with pro-Manning guys, who will now have an extra ring for their argument, for literally the rest of your life. That will be much more annoying.

This ^ no more rings for Mannings !!!!!

Manning is the devil......

I hope the legion of boom lay welker out. And i hope the seahawks destroy the broncos.

Wrong poll questions. The question should be the Bronco's or the Seahawks. Thenthe answer would be simple - Go Hawks!

It will be interesting how rah rah Pete handles Sherman. He should sit him out a quarter of the SB. If Manning and the Bronco's score in the 1st quarter, he should turn to Sherman and say "see how your childish self promotion has hurt the team".

That is how a real coach should handle Sherman. We'll see what Petey does.

I voted **** Sherman, but it's more because "the little dbag" happens to play on the same team as Manning...

People are mad at Sherman for being honest less than 5 minutes after making the biggest play of his life. As Peter King wrote, that's why there is a cooling off period after games, because players are fired up. He did not swear, and he only talked about on field stuff.

People on this very board who hate what Sherman is about spent years cheering for guys like Larry Bird and Kevin Garnett who did the exact same sorts of things. How many of you were loving it when Reggie Miller did a far worse version of this to Spike Lee and the MSG fans?

Richard Sherman is such a selfish human being that he is constantly going back to his high school in Compton, and others in the area, which for those outside of the states is one of the worst areas in the country, and giving speeches to the kids about how you can accomplish your goals if you stay positive and work hard.

From the LA Times: But there's another side to him. It's not uncommon, for instance, for Sherman to buy to-go dinners at a restaurant, then distribute them to the homeless. Through a Seattle charity last month, he "adopted" an impoverished local family, paying for their Christmas dinner and buying all the presents under their tree.

From a different article I found: Then there was the decision to attend Stanford University, rather than USC. Sherman wanted to prove that a kid from Compton could not only get into the prestigious institution but also graduate and play football. Having a 4.2 grade point average and a 1,400 test score didn’t hurt. But part of that process involved writing an essay. Sherman opted for his experience with the mentally and physically disabled kids his mother works with through California Social Services.

“In high school, we had to do 100 community-service hours. I did all mine there,” he said. “I watched one kid, he was like 26, but he had the mental capacity of a 9 year old. He looked like a grown man, but talked like a child. Some people can’t get better. Some people will always be 9 years old. And some people can get better. I watched him get better. I helped him get better.

“That’s what I wrote about in my Stanford essay.”

“I want these kids to know that there’s a big world out there and that goals can be achieved and it really doesn’t matter where you come from or what situation you started from,” Sherman said. “Here, you start from a city where nobody really gives you a chance. Everybody goes for the statistics – this amount of people go to jail or are murdered.

“People don’t try to pull out positives. I’m trying to show them there are positive sides to the city. There are some building blocks here. There’s a lot more to it. There’s a lot more to them than they even know. And I want them to know they can achieve anything they put their mind to.”

And Sherman didn’t limit his message to the football players or even athletes.

“The message transcends sports. It transcends even education,” he said. “Because they can be an artist if they want to. They go out and come up with some biomolecular discovery. Just change the world. That’s really what my message was.”

As Sherman’s whirlwind day was winding down, SWAG founder and president Romel Tune was the one who said it all.

“This is what NFL players should be doing,” he said. “They should be giving back.”

WHAT A STUPID SELFISH PRICK!

It was five minutes after the biggest play of his life. He was excited. He didn't swear, and he spoke 100% truth.

Suspend Sherman for the 1st quarter? Goodness what a stupid suggestion. Why? Because he is the best in the league at what he does, and he knows it? Deion was far worse, Darrelle Revis was the same way but phony once the cameras were on.

Grow up you adults. Just because you wouldn't have said it that way doesn't make Richard Sherman a bad guy.

Go Seahawks

I think a real coach would concentrate on winning the game. His player broke no team rules, no league rules, and violated no FCC rules. What is the big deal?

Any of you that would rather watch Wes and the Fivehead and the friggin Donkeys win over the Seahawks, just because Richard Sherman went on tv and told you how he really felt, are people I cannot relate to at all.

Michael Crabtree said something in the offseason to Sherman that was personal, that was something that he took offense to. Sherman talks strictly about football, strictly about on field stuff. He is a better player than Crabtree and showed it when it counted. Then he let the world know what they already know.

Lock him up and throw away the key!

I'd much rather cheer for an organization that knows their classless in Seattle than one with pseudo-class in Denver. Plus, the Seahawks D is the best (consistent) defense in the NFL since the 2003/2004 Pats defenses. I'd kill to have a player like Sherman in Foxboro.

Go Hawks.

That off field stuff about Sherman was awesome. Didn't know that, the dude must be pretty smart.

I'm already rooting for the Hawks but now I'm wishing more than ever Sherman was a Pat.

i agree that there is no way any pats fan can root for Manning. Sherman talks trash - so what? He's good at what he does and he made the play of the game yesterday. The guy works hard and studies film, and you really can't ask for anything more from him. The problem is this defense doesn't have, and hasn't had for a few years, a guy like that - someone with swagger. I guess you can put Brandon Spikes into that category, but he's good as gone. Kraft doesn't like Richard Sherman types. I remember in the offseason Kraft loved Tebow and wanted him desperetely on the team.
