"You can name the AFC Championship after the Patriots. They've been there so many times."

Classy.

Sure I want to see my team beat him but I don't get people hating on him at all.

Too bad their fans are bunch of classless, groveling POS's. They talk about arrogance? I don't care who wins the SB, as long as it's not Denver. And it's not about the players, it's about their "non arrogant" fans. I've never read a worse fan forum than theirs , besides the Jest of course. It's amazing what one year of winning does to people. I wish them nothing but the worst.

Jets fans, Pitt fans, Den fans. In that order. Den fans seem to be the least educated....well maybe jets fans

You just described yourself! Dumbass!

Every team has bad fans. Some Seahawks fans where throwing things at the injured 49ers player who was being taken off on the cart. It doesn't get much more classless than that. I hope Manning and the Broncos bomb the Seac*nts

I don't like either team, but I prefer the Seahawks to win. If Manning wins , his god -like statue will grow into something unbearable. Right now the way the media fawn all over him is ridiculous, it will be a million times worse if he is hoisting that trophy. Then he will be regarded the GOAT and Brady will be an after thought. As a Patriot fan, I do not want to hear that drivel non stop !!

Like I said in the Manning-Sherman thread, I like Peyton as a person. Rooting for him to fail is purely out of the debate with TB. And his fans/Brady detractors really annoy me.

You can name the wild card round after Peyton Manning.

I kid, I kid. That was nice of him to say.

I put San Diego fans up there. For never winning anything they sure pretty arrogant and obnoxious.

Easy to say after you win.

These championship losses are getting tough, (2-5 since 2006 AFC Championship including SB's).

Maybe it's best to not have expectations.

Just at a loss for words....are we going to keep losing playoff games until we are no longer in them??

Again with me at least its not manning i like the guy, its the media manning promoters like espn and cbs that decided to make him the GOAT years ago and will make excuses for him if he blows the SB.

Well when your in them year after year without an off year or two your always picking near the bottom which makes it harder to get over the top.

I should personally like Peyton. He is a class guy.

Having said that, I can't wait for the Seahawks to destroy the Bronco's in the SB. Does that make me a bad person?

Why no Sir it does not. Of course i wish for the same thing.

Yeah, I guess.

It is what it is... but this is what it has become with BB and TB. At least with most other organizations there is a sense of newness to either success or failure...with us it has become success early and failure of late (losing in big games).

The ironic thing is we probably can't do anything better as they get older. The NFL is as familiar with them as they are with any other coach/QB.

We keep rationalizing how we're going to "get over the top". But there is always a setback every year it seems.

I dunno, I'm just dissapointed, maybe depressed...but who cares, we're Patriots fans. We won a chamionship in 2004. yada, yada.

I'm sure I'll sleep it off....I guess it's better to lose the big games than never see them.

Brady/Belichick remind me of Troy Aikman. Win 3 out of 4 early in the career but wasted the rest of Aikman's career

It gets tiring hearing all this spygate BS...."they haven't won a championship since spygate".

But what can you say, we win three in four years...how improbable is that?? then what...we're starting to become the 90-94 Buffallo Bills....I mean, real talk, the way we looked today was nothing like we looked against Buffalo, Baltimore, and Indianapolis. We looked like a young team in its first big game today. Everything was out of sync...we got out-coached and outplayed at every facet.

What do we do from here?? My bet, just be content with the past, because we're still going to tow the company line and hope for young players or cheap veterans to be exceptional players in clutch games....

I'm just frustrated...loss for words. I felt like it was now or never today.

NFL teams are good. The fact that the Pats have struggled late in the postseason is a testament to how hard what they achieved in the past was.

Broncos outplayed NE today. Brady did not have a good game. Execution was meh on both sides of the ball. Broncos offense was clicking on all cylinders. Coaches forgot about Ridley. Denver gave us their best game today, and now they get the privilege of playing for the Lombardi.

There's zero margin for error in NFL games. Instead of worrying about what we did wrong you've got to tip your cap sometimes. Its not like we're the Yankees who can buy Adrian Peterson, Patrick Willis and Calvin Johnson.
