Think about that for a moment?

Besides Edelman can you think of another offensive playmaker?

Blount? He has made a play or two.

Brady....... Lol

But yes, 8 quarters of football left, FINISH STRONG!!!!!!!!

Thats true. Think about it, back in '01 how many play makers were there? Troy Brown and Smith the running back?

Mankins ............ playing in beast mode.

All of our guys on the offense played their roles extremely well tonight. They did what we've wanted them to do for awhile, which was impose their will in a physical manner vs the opposition. That's what playoff football is all about.

It sure would be nice to see another "playmaker" step up, particularly in the offensive receiving game though. While I never thought the odds were too good of happening, a guy like Dobson (or even Amendola...hell, even Collie should he snag 4-5 grabs) would go an awfully long way towards giving us a much better passing game.

In the meantime, Belichick has guys like Devlin, Hooman etc stepping up in the blocking assignments, so it's possible that we may be able to at least "get there" by winning next Sunday. That would then give us 2 weeks to prepare for something a bit more explosive in the passing game, especially if we had another WR somehow step up as a viable candidate.

i still do not believe it...what an awesome season...

incredible

these Pats are so strong

great great season

GO PATS

A few games ago Develin made a nice catch on the side lines for a good gain, remember being impressed by his "catching radius"... seems as though #12 is dialed in on a few guys...

Think they have to somehow mix it up and get creative with the receiving corps...

I was a little perturbed at a point in the game because Brady seemed to look nowhere else beside Edelman, Vereen and sometimes Amendola. I wanted him to throw it to KT if anything just to mix it up a bit but alas when that happened he got knocked out of the game.

Except for AH one of the best. No one would have thought that with all the new faces at WR, and all the injuries to key starters and others, that this team would be playing in the AFCCG.....again. They started playing with house money last night.

Sorry about this but I'm on a mission today. Could we upgrade Matthew Mulligan from just being "etc" please. Guy deserves a name check after a good game yesterday.

Honestly not getting at you, I'm just in Mulligan-booster mode and saw your comment. You were absolutely right to credit Develin and Hooman.

Seems like an 'amen' is in order after that post ;)

Speak for yourself. I've believed in this team all year long. But what a year. It's a marvel they've made getting this far so routine.

Big hurdles to get over before it happens, but Marshawn Lynch and LeGarrette Blount in the same Super Bowl would be pretty epic.

Not for the linebackers.

Would the real Beast Mode please step forward.

He did throw a one to Thompkins, inaccurately and low. And then he got him sandwiched between two colts that knocked him out. I also noticed Brady didn't throw a couple of passes to a fairly open (at least to me he looked open) Vereen after he had that difficult pass bounce off his hands. But I don't care who he throws/doesn't throw to as long as we win :D

No matter what happens i am proud of this team On paper they have no business being here yet here they are with 20 percent of their cap on IR. Wilfork,Kelly, Mayo,Spikes, Vollmer, Gronk....i could go on. Great job by the coaches and great job by the rookies seizing the moment. The journey continues and i for one am content.

Was Thompkins even in there much?

I only saw two receivers out there in most formations.

Props to Hulkamania for predicting the blowout.

If he is backing the Pats all the way to Jersey, this team cant lose.
