It is on now on NFLN , and with the best offseason we have ever had in the Bill Belichick era, is it safe to watch the game yet???

Not for me. No way, no how, not ever.

NO, Never.. I will never be able to watch that game.

No how, no chance, no way. I will never be able to watch that game without wanted to punch things.

I still have it on my DVR, refuse to watch the last minute though, and the post game celebration. It's amazing how close we were, considering Caldwell's boneheaded plays, which killed us. Hopefully Caldwell is our #4 receiver. Great catch by Gaffney in the endzone, hopefully his playoff performances are a sign of thngs to come. If we had Stallworth & Welker, I believe we win that game and the SB.

Watched it on Saturday. It's an interesting game and worth watching
again. The Colts took it to us and there wasn't much we could do
about it.

Why is that so often when I open a thread and read the first post and my response forms in my brain and I continue to read the thread, I find that BelichickFan has already posted my response for me?

What he said.

Despite the final result, it will always amaze me that we were able to make it to the AFCCG with the players we had. We also gave the Colts a helluva fight.

I would rather shove a watermelon up my nose.

I turned it on as Brady was being picked off in the end and thought....so freakin' what...we didn't earn it, we didn't make the clutch plays at the end, we didn't play a full 60...we didn't deserve to win. The Colts pulled through, sickens me to say, but that's the truth.

That being said, I see the moves we're making this offseason and think..."damn, we're going back to kickin' ass again" :)

if harrison is healthy we win that game! not making excuses for injury. just the way i feel.we couldnt cover the backs and tightends. imo:cool:

There is no way I can watch that game until after we win our next Superbowl, at that point i will be able to handle it, but not until then.

Hell no!!

The offseason has numbed the pain of that loss, and my disappointment over the season's ending has slowly turned into excitement for the offseason and the season to come.

But if I think about that game for more than about forty five seconds I still get that same feeling, the most wretched feeling in all of sports playing or watching, the "what if?" feeling.

The more I think about the game I still get peoed, I was just wondering how everyone else felt .. I guess still the same like me, it will take till Feb 4th 2008 to ease the pain..

Honestly, I think more fans are more pissed b/c it was the Colts than anything else. If it was San Diego, would it have been as hard to take?

Yeah, we hate Indy more than anything, but sh*t happens.

Definitely. If it was against pretty much any other team it would still have sucked but it wouldn't be anywhere near as horrifying.

every year I record all the games, and each week I hook up two DVD recorders and make my own highlight tape. I usually complete my highlight for each game less within a week of the game's completion.

Well, it wasn't until at least a month and a half until I could even bare to put the AFC Championship game into my DVD player again. I thought about leaving it off my highlight tape altogether, but the Pats did score four TDs in the game, so those couldn't go overlooked (especially Gaffney's TD grab).

So now I will only watch the game as part of my highlight film. And even though my highlight tape only has positive Pats plays of that game, I still feel awkward watching it.
