Who will have been the best FA pickup when the 2007 season is over?

pick your poison... i'm psyched about all of our FA aquisitions! Go Pats! btw, i chose Thomas for the poll!

I have to say Thomas. The LB position is a major concern, as was the WR position. I still hope we wind up with Willis at pick #24, and then concentrate on the secondary, or more LB's. Thomas was the best LB free agent, therefore the best Pats FA signing.

I like all of them, love Stallworth for the sake of Tom Brady, but without AD, this would be a avg offseason so far.

I don't see the Billy Yates option, or my second favorite Larry Izzo.

Should I say 'Not on team' - If you think the Billy Yates signing will end up as the best, you need help

Of course I need help, but what does that have to do with impact FA signings?

Thomas was a Patriot on the wrong team. He will be one of the proud members to wear a Pats jersey. I'm hopeful about Welker too. Ideally Stallworth has a hell of a season and the Pats take the options.

I picked Thomas because i'm 100% confident he's going to have a fantastic season. The others i'm sure we'll hear about, but i don't know yet if it will be as spectacular as Thomas.

I was going to say sammy morris, but he wasn't a choice...so I chose AD...

Have to go with Thomas right now, versatile, fast, unselfish and a great football player.. sounds like the consummate patriot right now.

Adalaius Thomas.

As has been mentioned many times before BB will have a fantastic time utilising him in many of his 'mad professor' schemes.

As great as the D played last year, they have been vunerable to teams with powerful offenses - and I think BB was aware of that.

How else can you explain the abandoning of the running game against the Colts on two occasions (but more specifically the first game)?

My feeling is that BB knew he didn't have the horses, especially with two second stringers in at safety, to cope with Peyton Manning in full flow - and unfortunately thats how it panned out.

He tried to initiate a shootout and lost.

I would love for Rodney to remain healthy for a year - that would be a massive 'signing' of sorts for us.

Im also interested in what DB's we may be looking at in the draft - again im thinking safety rather than CB.

Stallworth is going to have a career year. He has Brady throwing to him and a big pay check if he does well. All the incentives for being our #1 acquisition.
