That's all the talk on Bay Area sports talk radio. If true, don't have to worry about this guy any more.

ESPNews reports he's signed a 2-year deal with the team.

A productive thug.

I.e., a perfect fit for the Raiders.

Raiders | Team signs Rhodes
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 08:58:49 -0800

Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports the Oakland Raiders signed free agent RB Dominic Rhodes (Colts) to a two-year, $7.5 million contract Friday, March 9.

This is strickly a "getting paid" deal. He goes from the first place team to the team with the first draft pick. He still won't be the featured back, unless Jordan gets hurt. I'm guessing he didn't see a single Raiders' game this season, that offensive line is horrible. He got his ring, now he's getting his money. He has been a very good role player for the Colts, especially during the playoffs and Super Bowl, but this may be the last you hear of him.

I hope that contract was front end loaded for his sake- That OLine is brutal and might contribute to a shortened life expectancy.

I don't think people in Oakland even care about this crap

I don't think people in Oakland even care about this crap
There is always/still a certain contingency of Black Hole types that appear to care. Last year they actually sold out some home games, as evidenced by the games being on CBS. I think a Pats game was not televised here because of one of those. But you're right, until Al Davis goes away for good, this franchise is toast.

Is he even a better RB than Justin Fargas? I don't think so.

He did a good job for the Colts in the playoffs when they found his niche as a change-of-pace back, but his liabilities showed during the regular season when he was asked to do more than that. It would have been smarter of him to sign a short term deal like this with the Giants, because he would have had a similar role there.

Rumor is he's suspended for four games for substance abuse.

Rumor.

well, Rhodes fell into the NFL's black hole

Goes beyond that. He pissed himself so he could avoid the eventual testing of GH in his system.

We'll see.
Nothing quite so demeaning as that phrase, is there (unless it's "he shi* himself").

Well, he wanted to go to a team that had a chance at winning, lol, they might actually win.....one or two games.
