That blows for the Cowboys

I actually believed they had a shot at winning

Kyle Orton will start, who isn't that bad

Re: No Mo Romo for rest of season (injured back)

No mo Ro Mo. Ho ho ho (for Philly).

Tebow, Teeeeeeeebow

Wow, hadn't heard that, blows for him.

Must have broken his back carrying that horrific defense all season long.

Now he's off the hook from the media when Dallas chokes away the division for the 3rd straight year on the last day of the season.

Imagine the conversations if Orton is actually able to get the Cowboys into the playoffs...

Either Schefter is wrong, or Garrett is just playing mind games with the Eagles.

Read a twitter that Jerry Jones said it was a foot (wtf)? The way Philly lined up against Chicago who has a defense similar to Dallas's, does it really matter who is the qb?

The fact that Garrett confirmed the need to get a 3rd QB likely tells me that Romo is indeed out, but that's just speculative of course.

It could be that they're just trying to keep PHI guessing as much as possible, or that they simply don't know yet.

Tony Romo can start working from home as of today... He can work for 3-5 hours a day and earn $3000 a week... Weekly payments, simple job for which he only needs a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Poor Tony. The guy has some glaring issues that need improvement, but he also gets a worse rap than he deserves.

It seems strange to me that so many seem to forget that he basically has the same career QB rating as Tom Brady around 95-96, and as of 2 weeks ago had the NFL's best career 4th quarter rating of ANY quarterback in the entire league history.

I don't think he's a top 5 QB or anything, but he's definitely top 10-12 easily. It's the team, coach, owner, cap situation, fanbase, and every other aspect that you could think of that is Dallas' downfall. Looking at it without bias, Romo is one of the better QB's at turning a play from nothing into buying time, scrambling, and hitting his target downfield. Unfortunately, that target sometimes wears the other team's colors ;)

Romo has $42 million in dead money if he's cut/traded in 2014.

I love romo. The difference between him and Brady IMO is coaching. If he had Sean Peyton and no jerry, he'd have a much better career.

No QB could succeed with the coaching and FO that Romo's been saddled with. I think his legacy would be a lot different if he played in an organization that didn't suck

I wasn't referring any idea of cutting Romo, since they can't, which is the point. Jones has already hitched his wagon to the choking dog that is Tony Romo.

He did the same stuff when Parcells was running the show.
